Instead of showing the LoL logo, anyone who's posted just on the new site in those threads show up here on TL as a zero-post-count user, defaulted to the Terran unit icons.
Websites don't just update themselves. There are actual people probably working hard to implement a new redesign right now.

Holy shit this is excellent. Best of luck to everyone involved- this is a very proud moment in TL history.

Give it some time. All the LoL content on TL will make a full transition over to LL. End result is more or less like LD.

Nice, Liquid growing like a boss! ;D

Why not League of Legends?
We understand that League right now is the biggest game with the largest player base. But this isn't purely a business or numbers decision for TL. At this moment, taking into account our existing core audience (StarCraft fans), we believe that Dota 2 should be the game we add to our coverage. It "fits" TL's style, and it's very popular among our staff, who play and watch the game as well as visit sites like r/dota2. We already have an active Dota 2 forum, and pro Dota 2 players are streaming using our stream list. Though no TL game expansion can compare to us adding StarCraft 2 two years ago, this is a similar situation where all the pieces are already in place.
Kinda dissapointed by this, don't feel LoL scene first the spirit of TL community, at all. And I'm worried this will just dilute the number of talented people working on TL SC2.

For a very long time, we already had a team of League staff making excellent quality content. Unfortunately, that content was stuck hidden in the depths of a small subforum. Now this just means they have the chance to have their work featured and seen. There is no split in staff talent. I can't imagine you or anyone else should be disappointed in having writers receive recognition for their hard work and effort.

Yeah I feel like a lot of people are underestimating the size of the existing LoL community in TL. There was already a lot of content and users there, its just a matter of making a separate site so that the information can be featured properly. Just like what happened with LiquidDota and LiquidHearth.

It's not a question of being prepared, it's just a question of getting it all done. I haven't followed LL development closely at all but I imagine bugs and various issues on the LoL site will be prioritized over updates to TL/LD that reflect the existence of a new site. Should all be done and done in a few days

I can count the number of people on SC2 staff that are actively involved in LoL on one hand. Don't worry about any noticeable staff cutbacks, the sites are almost completely separate in this regard

So um, why .net? Just curious... The Dota/Hearthstone sites are .coms, where is the uniformity?!
|
not sure if it was mentioned yet, but liquidlegends needs to be added to the liquid family on the top right on all TL LD LH

For those that underestimate LoL (like I do did, yuk) or the partnership, here is a little eye opener:
"As of January 2014, over 67 million people play League of Legends per month, 27 million per day, and over 7.5 million concurrently during peak hours."
"Payments by players have helped “League of Legends” become the second-largest game of its kind in 2013, raking in $624 million in revenue for the year, according to SuperData Research."
“League of Legends” and its success is a shining light for the [PC] videogame industry, particularly as sales of new [PC] videogames at retail stores in the U.S. continues to fall."
"Gamers and industry watchers say Riot’s success stems in part from its many tournaments, which pit top players from around the world against one another."

Laughable that people still think retail stores mean anything for PC game sales.
Like, are we saying Movies are dying because Blockbuster is dead?

while I do not care for LOL, I do care a lot for teamliquid, so I am happy.

So, are all things Liquid now co-owned or just the league of legends part of it?
