this is just too weird, really zia has no defense , you just dont pretend to be a different sex online and tell other men you love them and make up crazy stories about bein raped and tell people your crying and you will never walk again, thats just not right , its not brilliant, its creepy, no one is surprised you came up with that idea, its the fact that you did it, you fucked with some peoples emotions pretty bad(myself not included), w/e zia has to say can easily be countered with the fact its just too creepy to do what he did , seek a doctor or your parents for some help

Well I think it's time I added my 2 cents....I didn't know Zia nearly as well as everybody here (never exchanged msn, never pm, only gamed twice) , but I'm pretty sure I knew her the EARLIEST, before she got on tl.net or became popular or anything.. A friend of mine had started a clan called P)x- and the next thing i know she's like co-leader or something. I never really joined P)x, but I hung out and played with them a lot. I remember "Zia" telling me about how she grew up in Korea and knew [NC]...Yellow, how she was living in Finland, but had lived in the U.S. as well, etc. and all this time she was on her own. Now right here, everything sounded absurd because for someone to grow up in an Asian culture, adopt their language, and then be able to learn Finnish and still be able to type in perfect American all while providing for yourself takes genius, but I never challenged her on any of these things really. I only made a sarcastic remark about her growing up with Yellow to which she quickly replied, "Excuse me, are you telling me how I grew up?" and after that I never really talked about it again. I mean, it was possible for "Zia" to be what she said she was, but I didn't care about suspicion because we were never close at all. Then I stopped playing bw for like a year and when i came back, she's in pG. But the interesting thing about everything was her attitude. She was trying to be, in all aspects, like Tifa from FF7. But someone who actually IS like Tifa (I know someone who actually is like her in real life) would never admit this fact. Like for instance, girls who are like Tifa don't say things like "me=Tifa" and yet, I saw her say stuff like this on posts here and online. They're strong-minded, independent; but they're not trying to BE like anybody. And then, in her recent accident thread, she said something like "I have a reputation to keep." But if she had a reputation of total bad-ass to keep would she have made a thread that longed for the sympathy of everyone in TL.net? So I decided not to respond to the accident post. Of course, I had not idea she was actually a he--what I thought was that Zia was a she, but just faking her personality on the internet.
So what do I think of all this? I think it's hilarious.....because the guy behind it has such a "boring and mundane" life that he has to pretend he's a girl to make his life more interesting.
P.S. ROFL remember that story about how some guy threw a brick at her car and then she ran up to him while he was stopped at the light and beat his ass? Did anybody seriously believe this? I mean, who throws a brick at a car, and then stops at the next light?

Has anyone of you seen the movies Mulholland Drive and Vanilla Sky ? These are movies, quite similar to this situation, where a person escapes reality and goes into the idealistic world for that person. That might explain all the stuff about having a major in psychology, journalism, and sociology, having personal contact with musical and pornographic rolemodels and all the other personal experiences "Zia" has had. As most of you might have surmised these experiences are far from being randomly picked out IE being babysitted by Yellows sister. In addition to this feed from all the responses/attention from a small community consisting people not being close to similar experiences.
You achieve the dreamlike status and get addicted to it. Think of it as a fantasy world. Like a drug. 5 years is a long time, but not if you are commited, and enjoy the situation to the fullest, which seems to be the case here.

I remember seeing that picture a couple of years ago on wgt and I remember thinking wow what a fucking bizzare looking guy. I rarely talked to her except for a couple of occurances and always assumed she was a girl since the whole ordeal with eri and such. Honestly I dont see the excitement in pretending to be a girl for 5 years, I can see it being fun for a while but seriously 5 fucking years? The only possible thing I can see is that this person is a serious loser irl and has no friends most likely and vitalizes the internet and uses it to get attention and make friends. Any guy I know wouldn't fake date a guy on the internet for a year or however long it was just to keep up a fucking act. I see this as having a serious mental problem or just maybe being homosexual.
