Quite shitty -Using older versions is common practice in many games that are speedrun. (most popular ones actually). -Using a seed that has X or Y, commonly abused in many RNG based games for practice purposes, they'll have savestates for practice runs, this is a marathon, we dont need hours of resets or whatever and if minecraft runners use a specifc seed no matter what, i can understand why. -Using a bug, well..every speedrun ever, -killing a dragon exploding beds = epic. Im pretty sure i wont enjoy it and ive never seen minecraft speedran, but all the reasons you list apply to the majority of speedruns and are just stupid. | ||

It's not exactly exciting to watch someone spend an hour searching for a stronghold or mine for diamonds or whatever. | ||
