But Anand plays 20...h6 instead of 20...Rxf2 with just a free pawn as far as I can tell. Typical GM chess that I don't grasp :p | ||

edit: well okay maybe it's not that crazy but I think he should have taken the pawn on f2 earlier. | ||

Kramnik-Mamedyarov is cool too though :d Normally in such games all the craziness dies down and suddenly at the end it's a normal endgame where someone has some chances to convert later. | ||

He has a strong bishop that prevents the pawns from promoting. Taking the knight on c3 in this position wouldn't be the best move according to the engine. The only winning move would be Bh3+, but it's very hard to find. ![]() | ||
