I think it's common to retime WR runs anyway, specially in games with more competition. The splits done by the runners are often not completelly accurate. I remember some silly drama with Paper Mario regarding timings when Cosmo was running it. | ||

On Cosmo's stream, he was talking about whenever a speedrunner has a good run, they retime it and count frames. Timer's are for general times and splits are just for the viewers. | ||
