And what happens when if a pro-EU candidate wins? Where does that leave the negotiation? Sounds like a mess all around.

And not waste several months going through a transition while the clock is ticking. And what happens when if a pro-EU candidate wins? Where does that leave the negotiation? Sounds like a mess all around. I can't see how anyone Pro EU could possibly win an election in the UK, we have a first past the post system with the conservatives around 45% of the vote Labour down on 25% you are looking at a 100-150 seat majority for the Conservatives and electoral wipe out for Labour

Or maybe she thinking that if they win they get to tell everyone WE LEAVING STOP BLOCKING STUFF. That was my thinking behind that, unless im wrong. She basically said in her statement she was calling the election because all the other parties and the house of lords were blocking/delaying her, so she is calling the election to shut them up and stop blocking.

I mean shambles due to that the government in charge is not able to pass the bills due to people blocking on purpose.

Either way the tories will win, but not necessarily by the massive majority that is expected. Be prepared for some small surprises.
