![]() 1) I set it to 1000hz, and the mouse is running super smooth. When I check it with mouserate.exe, it peaks at just over 1000, but averages out to just over 700. Is that what I should be seeing, or is that a problem? It shows that the mouse can reach 1000, but most of my strokes don't get it there. 2) I used mousefix and then checked with accelfix to see if acceleration was still running. It said it was enabled, so I ran the removemousefix, then ran accelfix again and clicked yes. Then I rebooted and ran accel fix again to see if acceleration was off, but it still says it's enabled. What am I doing wrong here?

2) Well you should still use mousefix even tho it doesn't remove the acceleration for you, and in accelfix i can't really help you, it's simple as hell. It tells you if it's on or off, and you choose whether you want it on or off. Mess around with it im sure you will find a way. If it still doesn't work, PM me and i'll try finding another way to remove it (there's probably a key to remove in the registry or something like that)

I set it to 1000. It seems odd to me that it should be that low. I used both of the other programs, mousefix and accelfix. Should i mess with the sensitivity in razer options? I have accel and master sensitivity turned off, and speed set to 10.

I'm not sure if it's working, but the mouse feels the same as it was before I used either. ![]() In any case, the usbrs prog to increase the hz definitely made the mouse smoother. I'm feeling much more comfortable with it in my hand already. ![]() Thanks for sharing all this stuff with us Loco. I'm loving this mouse now and I'm feeling even closer to being comfortable with this mouse. It really doesn't even feel like the same mouse as before these changes. Big help. ![]()

I have accel and master sensitivity turned off, and speed set to 10. That's pretty weird. I dunno. Has nothing to do with sensivity, when you move it very fast whats the highest rate you get? Not the average, but in the column? Still, 500 is better than 125.

500hz stable is enough. Most mice can't do 1khz stable. Fluctuating is bad. For the copperhead - 1khz isn't 100% stable/working. Also the latest firmware/driver make a huge difference. And I mean INSTALL THE FIRMWARE!! Not just the drivers. goddamnit my vocabulary is failing me in the morning...

SOLUTION You will have to install the driver first, by default the firmware can be found in C:\Program Files\Razer\Copperhead\Firmware. The file extension is .s19. ![]()
