Thanks to the insistence of you people that the driver must not have been installed/uninstalled correctly, I went to my control panel/hardware/mouse and uninstalled the microsoft driver. Then...my mouse wouldn't work at all! So I browsed (keyboard only) to the folder that I had the new diamondback driver in and installed it. Now everything works perfectly! I guess the windows one was interfering with the razer driver? I'm not sure exactly, but what I do know is that everything works perfectly now. ![]() Thank you for all the responses and help guys. I really really appreciate it!On another note, I'll be writing a review of the mouse (diamond back) and pad (mantis speed) once I've had a chance to play with them a bit and work out a reasonably informed opinion. I have been trying to hound people into writing about their own hardware reviews (particularly good players that like razer products like midian and day) so now that I've got this nice little gadget I figure I'll try to start the trend. ![]() There is a lot of uncertainty and bullshit surrounding gaming mice, so I think it would be cool if we started sharing more information as a community since I trust you guys a hell of a lot more than those douche bags on the "tech and gaming" sites. -_- Bunch of paid off, sponsorship taking, company suck ups if you ask me. ![]()

I had a different problem when i installed the drivers. The senstivity settings were so quirky that 5 was like crawling slow and six was move the entire screen. After installing & uninstalling and rebooting for awhile i finally gave up. But the next day, every thing worked fine. The only problem i have now is that randomly when i boot up, the mouse will be completely disabled. But rebooting fixes it. It took a while to get use to, but I like mine now. The only downside is that because of how it sits in my hand, its given me a nasty callus on my fourth finger, right by the fingernail. It feels like a permanent infected hangnail.

I'll have to give it a couple weeks probably before I'm completely comfortable, but right now it's rough. I feel totally unconfident with any kind of control in game. Hopefully Midian was right and I'll love it once I get used to it, but right now I'm playing like total shit, even for me. ![]()

On a side note, if you reinstalled your drivers the freshly installed software just recognised the mouse on another USB port. Make sure (should you ever unplug it) that you plug it in the exact same spot again, else it won't work properly.

![]() I'll keep at it. I've been playing a bit tonight and I think I'm getting a feel for it. Speed over accuracy seems to be the way this mouse is ment to be played. I guess once you get used to the speed, the accuracy comes back somewhat. ![]()
