There's zero difference between these "protesters" and SA stormtroopers starting riots at opposing political rallies in 1920s Germany. But remember, it's Trump and his supporters who are the fascists. The next time hundreds of Trump supporters start rioting and beating Trump opponents will be the first. Trump opponents have done it at least a half-dozen times. It's only a matter of time before someone gets killed by these fascist "protesters." | ||

Instead of grandstanding about being victimized by the small number of anti-discriminatory protests that have gone violent, how about stop giving those people a platform to advocate for discriminatory actions. It's only a matter of time before someone gets killed by these fascist "protesters." hopefully the violent mob gets arrested and charged for their actions. most people overuse and misuse the word fascist, because they don't have a good understanding of it. trump is authoritarian, and a number of other bad things, but he's not really fascist. fine to hate the idiots, but remember all sides do have violent idiots. and there are actions by them from all sides. there's a lot of decent people with entirely valid objections, or at least a fair number. it's tricky how to deal with violent mobs, much as I like the concept of arresting them all, a great deal of research into best practices finds that sometimes a more soft touch produces the best outcomes. | ||
