Strategy/simulation: Civilization 2 Worms armageddon Europa Universalis III Centurion Adventure Portal 2 Classics: Lost vikings Zork Galcon (Galaxy Conquest of 87 by Rick Raddatz) RPG: Angband Dwarf Fortress (I was afraid you'd dare put this under "casual" Don't forget to make an overall best category as well ^^ Edit: Actually, what do you think about the tournament format in each category? Like which of X and Y is more esports, aka the Hot_Bid format. And then a final bracket where the winner of each category goes into a finals bracket and there will be only one (which will be Starcraft ). | ||

Who would get the most votes? The games I've enjoyed the most playing are: Starcraft: Broodwar (best of all time) Quake 2 Doom 2 Counter-Strike 1.6 Half Life Diablo 2 Red Alert (one). Made me think of this list :D + Show Spoiler + | ||

Strategy: Empire Earth (if you have not tried it go to gog.com and download it, it is amazing) Rome/Medieval 2 Total War (Best Turn Based Strategy on the market) Shooter: Golden Eye (why the hell is it not on the list by defalut?) Horror: Silent Hill 2 & 3 (if we take the no series thing, these was better than nr. 1) Alan Wake (Not very scary, but the story is one of the best there is) RPG: Mount and Blade Warband (don't even try to argue) Racing: Need For Speed Underground 1 & 2, Most Wanted 1 and Carbon (the games back when nfs-series was good) Adventure: The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword (no discussion) | ||
