Countries that can't afford TVs generally don't have widespread broadband internet access either. In other words, it's only more efficient after you've already spent billions building out your IT infrastructure.

We have enough resources, Obviously infrastructre would need to be built to accompony this for every country we have abundant with energy but its hard for many of you to realise this because you havent received the information needed.
Many of you are builing this puzzle with 6/20 pieces missing but if you have all the pieces it becomes commen sense.
Lets say you dont own a car you have access to one your first thought is "I dont wanna wait some 10 minutes to get my car" to my house thats some BS I agree and you could own your own car untill the system would be efficent enough to facilitate the pace you require.
We could effienctly put 400 billion people on the earth without living crowded and thats not counting water and underwater cities.
And lets not forget we need to get out there and fight the Zerg But when we go we wont have some weak monetary infrastructure but a Resource based economy.
Its a transition nobody is gonna stop you from owning a car but when you feel its more satifiying to trade it in for access instead you do that and not one second before.

Enlighten me on us having enough power and resources for all his, tell me how will you stop people from owning things and enforce laws without fines? how do you get the whole world to agree to this? how do we get the few who need to work to actually work when they get all they need? how do we stop people finding somthing else to replace money? (location as status, clothes, arts etc). Water and underwater cites? really? imagine a tsunami on 1 of those never mind the upkeep and resources to construct. how do we stop people from being more wasteful when everything is "free"? Capitalism =/= letting people starve to death. In what point of this argument did I state that hobos deserved to die because they couldn't find work?
The statement I made above refers to the moneyless, "free" society that the OP is discussing, rather than to the homeless.

First of all imagine the world with limited resources ..... and then imagine that demands of resources are regulated by how much one have in exchange for the resources. Then imagine a system that would allow you to obtain resources without offering any in return. The level of resources demanded would skyrocket (based on my common sense) : From teenagers wanting TWO Ipads (because one is too mainstream) to people living below poverty line getting stuff for free and their standard of living goes up to match those teenagers. Yes all this is yippie and hippie, everyone is well fed, having the time of their lives, just generally happy. Here comes the crunch: Who wants to work and create resources (manufacturers, entrepreneurs) for others for no return, whilst others are having the time of their lives hanging out with their friends and families? Who wants spend time to obtain the necessary credentials (CPA, doctor, engineering) and provide the resources to others? Whilst demand for resources increases, supply for resources decreases (Some people will stay working because they like working but my common sense dictates that a lot wouldnt). Imagine Gen-Z kids who grow up thinking they are entitled to a computer, car,PS3, X-Box (luxuries). Imagine a whole world filled with whiny immature humans who want more and more and more whilst giving less and less. The tendency to want more and more (greed) coupled with the tendency to take the path of least resistance (laziness) would cause the system to implode and descend into anarchy. If the system does get put in place, I hope I am right in the middle of it when it happens and pray it lasts longer than my life so I don't have to suffer in the future. +1

First of socialism is great obviously the propaganda in the US is blackcoating it and its one of the no no words. And im only trying to "Enlighten" you all because of the suffering it will save the people around you and across the globe.
This is the future and its coming and you will acknowledge it all hopefully sooner rather then later. Its a marathon and some of us already reached the goal and are waiting for the rest of you all catch up.
my personal reason for supporting this has nothing to do with the wellbeing of the world but rather that researchers will have the means they need to discover cures and make us all live forever.
So sons dont you all wanna live forever.

So basically you ignore all the facts and issues people have posted and yet you say it will happen..... not to mention you attack the US when people from many places have told you why this wont work. This is sort of like ron paul supports saying "he will win you will see!" despite the fact he will loose horribly.

So... This idea is going to make us all immortal?
Total socialism is ridiculed because it has been tried before, which has proven to fail.
I'm going to ignore the hippy-style "I know the how the future should run and you are all too stupid to understand" statement.

DId you know that Finish kids are among the most educated kids in the world while having the shortest work days? 4 hour school vs 12 hour korean school.
I come from a socialist country and i can tell you this whole idea has nothing to do with socialism so this socialist argument has nothing to do with this whole idea, its totally irrelevant.
Also videos uploaded by a group with a certain agenda without having neutral experts is worthless.

That would be more belivable if your country next to your name didnt say ISRAEL and also as predicted to your comment leading. it is as neutral as its ever gonna get and anyone showing anything that dont coexist with your current state of mind is considered corrupt and having an agenda.
You are not open to change when you are defending your static identity because to be "wrong" to "me" is to be shamed. Thus you must fight to defend your static identity because to do anything but is to take in change and considered a treat to the being.
You win

Public healthcare? public education? controlled prices on food? its not 100% but has a load of aspects and if u read what i linked before http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibbutz you will see that such things have been attempted here.
