I have been on the fence on this election for awhile, I'm still leaning toward Obama but Romney has been more impressive during this debate. I think everyone here agrees that romney came out swinging and rocked the first part of the debate, but now he is losing ground as obama is doing better as this goes on Nah I don't agree with that. I don't think any candidate has rocked anything so far or done anything to be of note in terms of where the votes are going to go.

I'm watching this debate with Politifact and Klein up...he sounded better, but I don't think it's going to go so well after analysis.

BBC World Service Newshour presenter, Razia Iqbal I'm in Charleston, South Carolina - a solidly Republican state, at a Republican watch party. There are 200 people in a cinema heckling President Obama and cheering Mitt Romney, calling out "liar" when Obama talked about energy. When Obama talks about his family story the audience say: "Wake me up when you're done".
Good old South Carolina.

That and the constant smirk. to be fair, the moderator is obviously, from the beginning, favoring Obama a bit. not badly, but its definitely there. anywho, i doubt Romney being eager and forceful with a biased and boring mod is going to hurt him. (also, not this mods house) How is he favouring Obama? Romney has had more of the speaking time that is over the given limit along with always pushing for last comment even when he starts or when he will get start next. Obama has the moderator favoring him because he's not acting like an idiot.
CNN has a timer. He's favoring Obama.

So what you are trying to say is the two rax aggression from romeny did a fair bit of damage but not enough to slow down the droning of obama and now as mid game comes around the econ that obama built up is starting to bring him back into the game?

Obama shouldn't have bought into the MA model so heavily, it has done NOTHING to lower healthcare costs whatsoever. MA has skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Can't be true that Obama is this misinformed right?
Romney is lying, the best line from obama so far has been about this "Romneys big bold plan is nevermind"

One can very well argue that finishing the sections, which Romney has done three times out of three so far, is more important than speaking two minutes more total.

I honestly have it muted again and I'm just glancing over because I half expect Romney to run over and throw a punch.

the only one to get a shoutout from romney, yo.

wow he really looks like hes tearing up or something o_O
also i love how romney is saying we need a bipartisan president willing to compromise with the other side.
|
And here is where the Medicare chicken comes home to roost. It allows Romney to credibly attack Obamacare despite Romnycare.
7-1 Romney.

I wish they would stop talking about healthcare....
|
Romney lost the healthcare by far.
|
Here comes the obstructionism argument I suspect.
Also, ACA was done on a bipartisan basis. It was indeed originally a Republican idea pitched by Gingrich et al to counter Clinton.

The people who came to this debate STILL being undecided, as a majority, are not going to care about fact checking.
