It might be just me, but there's no way that anything she's saying is taken serious, is there? To me there's zero credibility. And it's not because i think "hood-people" suck, since i'm not from the US, so i have no experience or opinion on that. Her testimony, un-rebutted, is very damaging to the Defense. We'll have to see what they do on cross examination.

I've love to read the stenographer's transcript trying to capture all the nuance of ebonics.

She was the last person to speak with trayvon martin.
You think thats not important.
Laugh out loud.

just got to have an ear for it i guess, no problem here
also the witness is on the verge of a panic attack so she is prolly filled with adavan atm in order to be able to speak in front of the crowd
|
The most important part of her testimony is the part where she says Trayvon said "get off, get off." It basically goes against everything the defense is trying to say. This should be an interesting cross examination.

Where did i say that it wouldn't be important, do you have problems reading what i'm writing? There's a difference between "not important" and "no credibility", can you follow?

She is so blatantly faking her sadness.

I didn't get the first one (at all), so no, not for me.
She is so blatantly faking her sadness.
I actually think she's sincere there.

god this is witness for a murder trial? God I hope my life does not hinge on a testimony like that.

Oh sorry let me rephrase what i was saying.
You're asking for a reason as to why the last person to talk to trayvon martin is being called a witness. Are you serious?
|
Alright, so she testified that Trayvon cried or help and said "get off" as if Zimmerman attacked. That is the State's best evidence if I had to guess. The Defense has to shred her credibility. We'll see what they have up their sleeves.

When the witness is this bad and could make it more difficult to secure a prosecution it's a fair question.

Which part? The wiping away tears that never came? They have run through that scene 1000 times in practice. It was all scripted bullcrap.

No, i'm asking why a lawyer/prosecutor would summon a witness that actually hurt his case. She was called by the prosecution, not by the defense.

the man who scripped that testimony must be so brilliant it borders on insanity.
|
I don't believe her testimony. Her testimony alone is not enough to put someone is prison for the rest of their lives. Especially when she was a close friend to Trayvon. It's very possible that she lied to help her dead friend.
|
did they ask her if she was trayvon's girlfriend? i remember there was some ambiguity about that.
and i really hope she didnt "private" her facebook page, because defense is going to have some sexy impeachment evidence if not.
