Why do you think you are entitled to a proper response when you were the one who first made the sardonic comments? And even though you received an explanation, you were too concerned that you weren't addressed in the proper tone, for reasons I'm still confused by, to partake in meaningful discussion. You keep portraying yourself as superior and that talking about the subject you brought up with us is a waste of your time, which is the definition of being "condescending."
I have never addressed you in all of my time posting on TL yet you keep referring to my post history and your negative pereception of me, which combined with your weird fascination for the thumbs-up emoticon makes me imagine you as a murderous stalker who wants to do unto me unspeakable things.
With that said, if you are not weak like I presumed, follow through on your promise and have lichter ban you for a month. If you go back on your word, I at least hope you will underail this thread by enlightening me with your fashion knowledge and why that jacket is ugly. I would like to hear your thoughts since it has been a long time someone has come into this thread with as much purported expertise, insight, and intelligence as you have.

I merely asked you to explain your fashion expertise and why you thought the jacket was ugly, since you claim you are not ignorant. Yet once again you are capitulating by refusing to respond on the grounds that you are not "trying to win." I do not see how that exempts you from answering. Perhaps you can tell me why you came into this thread in the first place then if you had nothing to offer?

My point is you deserved that response for being a "dick." And that you should've owned up to it instead of throwing tantrums like a four year old, threatening seppuku out of shame, backing out on it, pretending to know anything about the topic, and calling everyone condescending pricks and "#pseudoexperts."

So if you have no knowledge of the topic at hand yet felt obliged to contribute a derisive opinion, then shun all attempts afterward of engaging in meaningful conversation, would you not, then, be ignorant? I am also sorry that you refuse to engage in intellectual discussion with me, presumably because I am not worth your time, and that you are intellectually superior. I feel like I have been continuously condescended upon, but yet I am still making an honest attempt at dialogue, I hope you can appreciate that.

In the event that you once again refuse to reveal your much advertised "knowledge of the industry," I hope you will follow the rules of this thread that are posted in the OP, specifically the Kanye GIF. I would also like to witness another brave attempt at martyrdom, so that hopefully you can retain a little bit of credibility, and not as someone who insults others, but throws a tantrum when called ignorant, vows seppuku, goes back on his word, and lies about knowing anything. I feel like we're just repeating ourselves. You went into a random thread, acted like a dick, and then overreacted when you were called out, and now still feel like you are the victim, threatened self-ban, etc, etc. You admit to such, so agreed. I don't mind that you called me a prick, at least not enough to threaten self-mutilation, I'm just bothered that you tried to provoke the thread but didn't have the balls to follow through and instead started crying wolf and playing the victim. But anyway, if you refuse to discuss fashion then please stop derailing the thread.
Are $1000 coats too much or too little? I'm confused. I would like some recommendations for coats in different price ranges. I feel like 1k is a common price point for a decent one, give or take sale prices, etc.

I went into this thread and mentioned that I thought something was hideous (I read this thread all the time btw). I got called ignorant, and I actually expressed my dissatisfaction with that quite politely at first to pulse. You then came in with clear condescension towards me and since I already knew you were an asshole I called you out. No ones really being a victim here, it's just two people calling each other assholes. The only difference is that I'm only an asshole to you while you are one every day.
The ban thing was hardly a threat, wtf. I wanted out of this idiotic discussion long ago.
Funny how we see the events so differently.
Also if you're wondering why I know you're an asshole, I mean there's a certain forum that you probably know I'm referencing where I've seen a lot of posts from you.

So if I can have the last word, in elementary school I used to dislike people without having ever interacted with them. Then when I started middle school I learned to always give others a chance and refrain from making judgments about people I didn't know. It's unfair to the other person. It's also kinda creepy to resent someone without knowing them.
I miss the days when people were held to their word on this forum. You know, when you can't back out by saying oh I wasn't serious.
Hopefully the next time someone comes in, insults something then claims "knowledge of the industry," we can make it a rule that they can't back out like a bitch when called out. Would facilitate more discussion. I don't really like that Junn J piece either, he's a pretty famous troll on runways, not Thom Browne level, but I remember reading something about his making extravagant pieces and expensive leathers just to make a point then never producing them for RTW. I liked his sneaker collab with Adidas, but was really turned off by the antler head boy images of a few seasons ago.
