went to one of the Chinese malls, there was a y's, y-3, annD, helmut lang, acne, lanvin, and a few other retailers. There was a boutique that had a lot of cdg, junya, undercover, sacai, neil barrett, wooyunmi or w/e on sale, every store was on sale pretty much. AnnD only had smalls but there was a super nice long cardigan I could fit into, briefly considered but too $$$. My guess is all the rich people eat up the burberry, gucci, etc, so the yohji places can't move anything. The acne store had nothing over 48 lol. I've made up my mind to get a leather jacket here (if i see enough % off) since there's stuff I'll never be able to try on in person. also apparently the all black qasa high's are the best ones? they had the ones with white soles but said the all blacks sold out fast. | ||

Bloggey/useless stuff: tried on rick dunks, pretty comfortable but the pointy toe is too conspicuous to wear with non rick. Julius leather quality kinda average. Buscemi sneakers are like the epitome of fuccboi baller and actually pretty sick but the gold stuff kills it for me even though it's part of the appeal. Handled a bunch of visvim, no virgils, liked the social sculpture jackets and this other long denim jacket. Skagways are like converse, brigadiers ugly. yy pics: + Show Spoiler + i know it isn't the point but ur shoes ;o; sick coat tho couple things, rick dunks aren't pointy, you may be looking for some other word julius's leather is actually veg tanned compared to ro's (most common comparison) which is chrome tanned. and usually you buy julius for cut and washes, but i guess you're right that the actual quality might be average. For the Ricks, not sure If they're called dunks but I was talking about geobaskets specifically. And yea not pointy, I meant the toes curling upward which is all of his sneakers/boots with that sole. I was trying them on even with drop crotch sweats and the sneaker naturally catches all the attention. I can see how it goes well with pod shorts or crazy drop crotch stuff but not sleek stuff. After asking on sf, turns out the yohji is woman's. I still couldn't find it in any of the runway pictures. The coat fits but I am worried about re-sale value since I don't wanna go the ebay route so there's only men's forum markets. I'm pretty mad the SA didn't tell me, I'm assuming they know since they placed the coat on the men's rack, probably thought it could be worn unisex, which is fine but like... they should've told me. And I'm dumb for going to that place without doing any research beforehand. Another thing I'm concerned about is that the coat is really slim and thus not worn in the same way the men's pieces are. This is my first YY piece and I really don't wanna be crossdressing already, just wanted something classic with a yohji silhouette. Probably gonna ask for return or at least exchange but they have really few men's pieces. Also the shoes are just 50cent sandals from street vendors. | ||
