Was at NMWA without appointment and wearing sweatpants, they were still nice to me. It was pretty much a warehouse for their online orders, no dressing room, one mirror. Saw a returned Charcoal Merino in sz.7, tried on some more schneider, all pretty nice. Nepenthes is pretty much cleaned out but the lady was helpful. The counter girl had a sick fwk fit. Acne had full stock on every denim. Salespeople were more standard. Not sure how they sell anything though given 3 other stores on the same block carry Acne and often go on sale. OC was just like their website, bunch of random stuff, nothing good. Inventory had some arc'teryx and Margaret Howell. The MH stuff was nice to try on, but they also got cleaned out after Black Friday, tiny store with one person working. But it's new I think. Nike Lab had bunch of weird looking probably shitty Nikes. Not sure why I even went in StA, walked by Alexander Wang store. Was too intimidated by Jil Sanders. BiG was the best experience, super nice space, super nice Japanese ladies, but I made sure to drop all the denim knowledge I could and thanked them for measuring 10+ pairs when I ordered Somets a couple months back. The momo 18oz natural tapered were pretty much like stiff cardboard, pretty sick build though, almost kopped. Kapital has nice fabric. Wanted to stop by La Garconne and RICK OWENS but didn't feel like walking. Also CNCPTS Boston opened a store around Rick, should've went to see what Virgils looked like. Oh also briefly stopped by Feit, good sneakers but don't like how they age. Couple of other places I would've went if I planned my route better and had more time, DSM, Barney's, MMM, Issey Miyake, BBS (maybe), IF Soho. I think that pretty much covers all the places worth visiting in Manhattan.

I went back again today and visited IFSoho. They had a couple of pretty stacked racks on sale. Basically everything was on sale, mostly 48-52 for jackets. Tried to fit into a 52 MA+ aviator and a MA+ long coat that was the nicest thing I've ever seen but they were at least one size too small. Was able to fit into all 52 Ricks and MMM, which included a shearing Bauhaus, a weird biker jacket from this season that was like a stooges without the collar, two MMM 5 zips, and a mollino I think. There was also a whole bunch of Lost & Found, IS, soloist, paul harnden, didn't have time to try out annD or attachment stuff. I can see how the black calf 5-zip is a staple item, goes with everything, nothing weird. Ricks were all weird, but good thing I found out I don't need a 54. Buying clothes in person is definitely 1000000000000x superior than ordering online, would've megakopped if I had the money.

you're going to have to recondition the leather after it dries I've also read someone using lemon juice but idk if that's actually a thing last resort is to send it to a cleaner

eth0s, old lyric, i.t, lane crawford, annD store. The sufu supershopper guide is absolutely worthless, only lists a bunch of food and random arts&crafts places. The mall boutiques are dominated by burberry, gucci, givenchy, etc. While the smaller places are hard to discover they even exist. eth0s carries dark stuff, old lyric apparently has a lot of yohji, then i.t has visvim, viridi-anne, attachment. Not sure what items the annD store has but it's the only one in China. Being able to try stuff on in person will probably save me a lot of $$$ in the long run, gonna make spreadsheets and shit of sizes. Also looking forward to trying on visvim in person and feeling the overpricedness. the rick stooges like jacket I tried on was the faun moody biker, fit well but kind of ugly imo. + Show Spoiler +
