Anyone know a good online source for Korean fashion (ideally made in Korea)?

Also I dunno about quality. There's a website for the brand they supposedly sell and it looks legit, and says Made in Korea, so it might be alright.

they'll probably fit the average skinny asian dude (i.e. me) well but they won't last for very long regardless give it a shot if you want, but its generally (imo) wasted money

Well it really depends on the aesthetic that you are trying to achieve. Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garcons would be what I consider to be the most high quality "asian-y" fashion. To put it in simple terms, Yohji's aesthetic is all about loose fits in (mostly) monochrome, revolving around generally Yohji's vision of menswear. I guess an example of a dude that likes to dress up in a lot of yohji would be: http://instagram.com/fjkbyu Comme des Garcons (homme and homme+, not the play line) is a lot more flashy with stranger (again, imo) cuts. However, a lot of CdG's RTW men's items are cut classically (think blazers, dress shirts, pants). If you're starting out, please don't buy things at retail value. Do a little research, find some second hand stuff off ebay, sufu, styleforum, wherever. Measure yourself before buying anything, and always ask for measurements on the garments that you're interested in purchasing. If you're looking at the lower end of things, Uniqlo fits me really, really well. I'm about 175cm (5'9) and 125lbs. The only issue is that Uniqlo jeans don't fit my thigh but I don't really wear any jeans other than my April 77s and N&F anyway. Style shouldn't be defined as "asian-y," it should be a personal thing.

Looking at the silent persis pants and random black jeans. I would say a pair of black denim that you're the most comfortable with would be the most versatile.

I do wash them regularly though (like once every couple of months). My N&F super skinny guys haven't lost their luster after 3 washes yet.

edit: I don't actually ever wear a suit so I'm on the fence on spending too much on it

I got a pair of julius twist seams a while back, but they ran into the opposite problem of the slps. the thighs are too baggy and the hem is too tapered/narrow, so the fit isn't really what I'm looking for. I think if I had a pair of chunkier shoes they'd look nice but all my footwear is sleek, so I end up not wearing them because I have nothing to pair it with. on a related note, I'm also thinking about picking up a pair of back waxed diors.
