+ Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been browsing some WAYWT threads on different forums and it seems everyone likes black. I don't understand it. The fits are nice but I just can't get into black on black or black on white. I like the sleek top heavy silhouette but maybe having some color or weirdness or patterns could be nice. Also what exactly is goth ninja and what isn't?

imo people/brands fuck it up/corrupt the idea in one way or another by combining really busy pieces to compensate for lack of color but maybe that's just me. if you aren't really feeling the whole black thing, just do you and wear whatever you think is interesting. as a sidenote when you take fit pictures take your arms out of the pockets, you're not modeling. especially for those angles we can't see how anything fits. also should keep jacket open, and a more subtle shirt with a diagonal hem would look better I think.

Recommendations for good japanese raws? Looking at momos without the battle stripes and pbj xx013 which is the tapered fit of 005. Does straight/tapered legs matter? I'd be wearing both boots and sneakers. Does cuffing slow down denim dye from smearing shoes? Ended up getting a pair of flyknit lunar 1s on sale ![]() Do I cuff or don't cuff or what with those? I soaked my current pair of APCs with woolite dark and although there was no color loss, only some thigh fades came out. Pretty sure I did it too early though I had gotten mud on them. Will this affect later fades? I looked up a bunch of pictures but still can't tell the difference between slubby fades like PBJ and regular fades, I only noticed that left hand twill seems to lose more color over time. What's the deal with slub?

What's the deal with slub? >samurai, sugar cane, flat head, pbj, oni, studio d'artisan, etc I find all of their cuts are tailored towards a workwear look, which isn't really my cup of tea, so I would either: - buy them and tailor them extensively - buy a collab. I really like the flathead x naked & famous; uses the n&f cuts with fh fabric/details so you get the best of both worlds >straight or tapered depends on your style. tapered as its name implies slims from the knee down to the hem and looks more modern/trendy; straight gives you more room through the legs. >cuffing does slow bleeding down some, but dye is going to rub off either way. >yes, this will affect later fades - the contrast won't be as drastic. it's a reason why some people don't wash for the first time until a year+ of wear. as a personal annecdote I find fading is slower after the first wash. >slub is just part of the texture, you need to either see it in real life or have pictures up close. from far away you may just see an uneven surface. It's one of those small things that people notice only if they're specifically looking for it or have coincidental foreknowledge (eg, a firearm enthusiast would immediately recognize the difference between an m4 and an ar15, but to a general pedestrian they both look like the same shit) slubs are technically a flaw in the textile manufacturing process but lately people have been taking them as a part of design.

FH and PBJ are great fit-wise imo. Avoid Samurai, Sugarcane, Mc coy lines and SDA if you want a modern look. FH has a 301 or whatever their current iteration of 3001 was. It's slim tapered. Worth a look. I have PBJ xx010. I believe it's the same silhouette to the xx005. Love it to bits (fit and slub). I have a preference for straight though, as whatever taper I get will be hemmed till it looks straight anyway. ![]() You won't regret PBJ that i can guarantee.

Also I fucked up so bad with recent purchases. Didn't know about END's customs fees so I ordered from them multiple times and even returned an item which I probably still have to pay taxes for. Those fees really really hurt and it basically means they're not worth ordering from no matter how much of a discount they give. Also saw Tres Bien sale today with almost 1/2 price CPs and thought they'd still be in stock in a couple hours but nope.

didn't have to pay any customs. If you're returning from the US I can imagine how fees would be a nightmare - for some reason USPS shipping with signature is about 3x the price of its international counterparts. Let's not even discuss fedex/ups prices.

I ended up getting white CPs. I thought Adidas Stan Smiths would look similar but there's a word of difference between the two. If you can get CPs on sale they're totally worth it. I ended up copping a second pair of navy/white ones for $150 lololol ![]() Also ordered PBJ left hand twills but they haven't arrived yet.
