There is no such thing as "plain" Ramen, correct. I assume ti is all "plain" before one stirs/mixes seasoning, right?

Just go to the next Asia supermarket in your town, they should have plenty.
If you live in a small town, then try a big supermarket (just don't buy the maggi crap, it sucks!).

Another (and pobably best) possibility is to buy online, for example at Gourmondo.

edit: and while your at it buy some wasabi coated green peas or beans: great stuff!

Sorry for the bump, but I got a box of Shin Ramyun and Noguri.

Just wondering how to use it up efficiently for 6 weeks (school holidays).

I'm also wondering, where can I buy Kimchi?

kimchi probably in the nearest china town or whatever near you..

how to use it up? boil water and place the noodles in it for like 3-5 minutes until soft ( not too soft plz)

then place in bowl

pour the hot water in

add the MSG and all that shit, mix it up

add ham or sausages or something easy to cook... or eggs or something right. then CONSUME!! :D

btw kimchi rocks with rice -_-b

oh and i dont know how many packs of noodles u got but i really wouldn't suggest eating them everyday for 6 weeks -_- really really fcking unhealthy lol. and you'd prbably get sick of them really quick.

alternatively sometimes u can boil the noodles, then pour out the hot water, and put it through cold water for a few seconds cuz it makes it taste better then just add some sorta sauce with it and mix it up, so its like non-soup noodle style.

Sorry to bump this but was just talking with a friend and he said he like to put crab meat in his Ramen but instead of just putting with the Ramen he microwaves it first then after the Ramen is done he mixes it. I tried it and the crab meat tasted like plastic. Any tips?

FYI this was frozen crab meat.

did you try just adding i to the ramen as you cook it? I think that'll just turn out better by default, that's how I cook all of my meat when I cook ramen

You should boil your own water so taht you can see when the crab meat is ready. Add the frozen crab meat, wait til the water boils again, then add the ramen and seasoning + everything else.

Exactly what I do, it's a must for me. Sometimes I add spam if it's the traditional ramen, because it tastes SO GOOD. I didn't want half frozen crab meat. I figured I could control the crab meat better in the microwave and adjust without ruining the noodles.

i like putting the egg in, turning off the heat. That way, I get a semi cooked egg that's firm and a little runny. I like it that way :D

FBH style ramen.
I usually just eat the ramen alone, but recently I've been eating it with a really tiny amount of butter and an egg.
