Thanks to Russallo, Gretorp and the NASL crew for being bold and trying something new. There may have been some hiccups during the run, but I firmly believe it was a good step forward for esports and foreign/American sc2. Thanks to ign for similar reasons. While it wasn't a whole different paradigm like nasl, the ipl did really move esports forward and was probably a big gamble for an organization like ign which was pretty established in a different niche. Last, but not least, thanks to day9. Without that enthusiasm and humor I, like many others I'm sure, would never have made the transition from occasional ladder player to esports partisan. | ||
