On 26th of this month in Tokyo, almost all of the European countries (except Poland and Czech Republic probably) together with Japan and China will sign ACTA which is literally the same act as SOPA. The dirty secrets of ACTA/SOPA/PIPA (but ACTA moreover) is that they all specifically aim to target China the most, if anything the signage of ACTA will declare an official intellectual property war with China. If anybody has an unsatiable apetite of hating China and is regreftul SOPA/PIPA won't pass they shouldn't. The legislation in current form was an either a flagrant and intentional abuse of power or just sloppiness and will get rephrased eventually.

Indeed. Also, as a swede, I find the names funny. ACTA(akta) = beware SOPA = trash Coincidence? I think not. Also, Sweden already lost the battle, pretty much. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FRA_law

And WTF is up with the world going all; Hmm, people are pirating, BETTER CENSOR EVERY SITE THAT HAS COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL IN IT! I can't wait for the next generation to "rise to power" over these "old-fashioned" people that don't have a clue of what they are talking about when it comes to internet and stuff like that. The guy who sponsored SOPA is most likely going to sneak it in somewhere under the new bill hes sponsoring thats suppose to be a stop the child porn bill. Don't let it fool you, don't be fooled by the "zomg protect the children" bullshit.
