I took three years of German in high school and since then have forgotten most of it (eight years ago). Feel really disappointed that I let that happen and this looks like I could relearn a lot of what I've forgotten.

Just starting, and right now I don't have too much time >_< Doing mostly English-vocab, because my English-vocabulary just sucks D: As soon as I started a little bit with Korean (as suggested on a previous page: talktomeinkorean.com), Korean-vocab is next on my list! Yay!

If you wanna be able to read Japanese than study with kanji. If you don't wanna read but just wanna know certain words, then study in romanji. Studying with kana only is counter-productive in any case.

(mandarin) I've noticed that the mandarin program is the best at this point. Most of the words have audio and pictures so it makes it easy to understand. Also I think we are going to get a TL person in the top 100 soon. Soon TL shall rule the internets.

In other words, I'd like to continue to learn Spanish in French (if that makes any sense?) Also, TL-Dugrok ![]()

I would feel unsure about it for other languages though, since it doesn't put the words in context. Amazing resource for Chinese, I'm blown away.

TL-Phineas (Spanish, Finnish, French, Swedish). I'm starting with Spannish, and i'll try to do multiple at the time (priority given in order), if that doesn't succeed, I'll do them one after another. I very recently started looking into learning new foreign languages, and this is gonna help me out a bunch (learning grammar is a lot more fun and easier when you know at least a few (1000) words)! Thanks a lot OP, you're making a lot of people at least try out new languages, and that's awesome!

Already off the top of my head I can use a variety of RANDOM (lol) words because of this game which is impressive since I'm having an endorphin rush from the points as I play. Question for those with well grown gardens, does the game make you type out the kana for the kanji more often? Unfortunately this only pertains to japanese I think =(
