"Gamers smell bad and dont have time for girls.." - Page 16

Congratulations on reaching this thread. In the rare event that you are in grandmasters league, have a scorching hot girlfriend, and somehow avoided the terrible stench of being a gamer, please refrain from telling us about it. The 10 pages of people informing us that they do, in fact, have sex should provide enough of a counterexample to any non-believers. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Having seen 13year old girls being raised I can tell you that doing nothing about it will not exactly yield the desired results XD

EDIT: she was asked what she thinks about the fact that the railroad line between Berlin and New York has been closed and if she thinks that this is a problem due to the current economic crisis. Obviously it's not the most original troll - I wouldn't have posted it if she hadn't made fun of gamers.

That shit had me laughing so hard. It's true though... a lot of gamers "be straight up smellin" Some people feed into the stereotype and some people don't. For sure. But it's kind of like saying "Americans are stupid and ignorant". Even though some fit right in there, some don't.. Or like saying that Europeans are arrogant, which admittedly probably mostly is true, but still not very nice to say ^^ You can't really pull sterotypes if you want to keep it at a realistic level. Might as well bust out with the "well you're blonde so you're probably married to your father, have a minus in IQ and like to fuck horses and dogs. Also you live in a trailer and you lost your virginity at the age of 11 and got a boob job from a non licensed doctor at the age of 13." It'd probably escalate from there >.>

If you're the type of person who already has a set idea of who I am before you've even met me I don't want to be your friend. People who choose to watch their news program are the bottom of the gen pool anyway, like BILD and Daily Mail reader, Even FOX news has a better Program.. Far from it. You might consider them to be at the bottom of society, but that also makes them the foundation of it. They are not the bottom of the gene pool. They are many. Educated people have less children. They are the majority of the gene pool. RTL has the/among the highest penetration of German speaking media outlets. They have good ratings, in the same way that FOX News has good ratings, which means that they have a lot of influence. You are not forced to deal with the stereotypes, Voltaire, you are forced to deal with the consequences of the prevalence of such stereotypes. Programs like this propagate & perpetuate superficiality, ignorance, short-sightedness, dishonesty. None of these attributes contributes anything positive to society. All of them undermine our ability to properly address the reality we live in, all of them undermine what is right, all of them undermine progress. They make ignorance acceptable by decreasing social pressure against it. I meant to say that you can dissociate yourself from these people all you want, but at one point or another you will inevitably have to deal with their actions and the consequences of them. We all live in the same world/limited space. These things cause harm. They should be addressed and failing to do so is to accept the decay of morals/society/virtues/call it what ever. If you still want to disagree I'd be interested in hearing your justification for it.

You forgot to mention that they also ask her if she's surprised that many gamers are heterosexual. She answers: "no, because I also know many [gamers?]" and then it cuts off. Can't really tell if she got caught there or not...

I didn't mention it because I thought it didn't make much sense....I mean, the stereotype is that gamers are incapable of having a girlfriend, not being gay. Very good post Nevertheless, my view of the problem is way more pessimistic. I am deeply convinced that there is no way of "saving" society, there are just way too many ignorant, dumb people. I have every intention of "tolerating" their way of living, which means, that I won't get in their way and pray they do the same. You can't "force" somebody to not watch crap like RTL and read a good book instead. You can't "force" people to not hate on foreigners, Muslims, and whatnot. Personally, I don't have much hope left.
