I get tired of these republicans who keep saying they will take care of their veterans. All the veterans who keep coming back maimed have to wade through alot of red-tape to get their care, sometimes their injuries aren't even catagorized as having occured from their activity in a war-zone. If they care so much about their soldiers then why do they take any chance they get to fuck them over? The military is the same way. I recently watched a documentary about Camp Lejeune and all the people who got cancers from the contaminated water there just ended up dying. Military medical staff would just tell them it would be ok and sent them off their way. Others weren't so lucky with many children there dying of Leukemia. All the while the government denied it for years. In the end it was a group of activists led by a former D.I whose daughter ended up dying from it. The miltary is the same as any other business. If they can cut corners at the expense of the public health, they will do it.

Often their poor health is a direct consequence of serving in combat. What I don't get is why people who think government healthcare = terrible service and death panels would want to subject soldiers to that.

Newts plan is probably to stay in and split delagates with Santorum then give them to him in the hopes that its enough to keep Romney under the winning number. The theory being that if the delagates are released Romney has no shot of getting a majority.

Niether one can probably beat Romney head to head but if they stay in then Romney wont have the delagates by the convention and then anything could theoretically happen.

I definitely agree that it's unclear what would happen. Until very recently it seemed like the momentum and the favorite were changing every month. Personally I do think Santorum would win the GOP primary if it were down to him, Romney, and Paul in a 3-way. It would be closer if it were just Romney vs Santorum.
