The old saying; "if you want something done, then do it yourself" is as relevant now as it was then. More than one "chef" does not mean that you will do tasks twice as fast. In many cases; you could do it all yourself, it will just take a little more time. AND, without taking unacceptable risks. The conclusion is undeniable.

Considering Norway has around 1% of the population of USA... The amount of deaths (compared to national size) is actually not that different from 9/11.
I realize this is not the same scale, reason or method as 9/11 though. Just pointing out that Norway is a pretty small country, so this is ALOT of deaths

Please take this for what it is, a view from a Brit of what goes on in his country. I don't support this vile organisation but have tried to be a neutral in how I describe it. Hope this is helpful to some of you.

The EDL or English Defense League is a UK right-wing organisation that has been around for around 2-3 years. It is more of a concern/activist group that an outright political organisation and has no party political wing, nor as far as I can tell, any party affiliation.
It treads a fine political line, avoiding making any racially/religiously aggravating statements opting instead for anti-extremism and ambiguous anti-islamification of Europe/UK sentiments. This has lead the organisation to receive some distant positive support or leniency when represented in UK newspapers, particularly The Sun.
The group's PR also puts significant effort in distancing itself image-wise from what are traditionally seen as far-right fascist groups such as Combat 18 and obviously the Nazi party.
Broadly their PR image is one of anti-extremism and preservation of British national identity particularly from influence by muslim immigrant communities, these are either underpinned by a paranoiac misunderstanding of islam or a nationalistic concern for the cultural impact of immigration in the UK, depending upon your political sympathies.
In recent times they have had an increase in membership as a result of the decline of the BNP (British National Party - right wing political party, currently in disarray due to move toward moderation in policy as an (unsuccessful) trade off for more popular appeal and also a string of PR blunders).
The EDL are most notorious in the UK media for marches and protests, typically clashing with UK anti-fascist groups particularly Unite Against Fascism. They have also clashed with Muslim extremist groups protesting the return of British dead soldiers from oversees.
Their behavior as see in a number media broad casts, documentaries and youtube footage paints a varied image of the group though one where violence is usually a factor. Recently in my area of London they disrupted a council meeting involving youth engagement by threatening, assaulting and throwing stones at delegates.
Members activities usually fall foul of the group's official line however, where incitement of racial or religious hatred is clearly the order of the day.
Personally, the organistion bears a striking resemblance to certain mens unions/clubs of the 1930s in German that were galvanized and later went on to form the SA and later still the SS in Nazi Germany.
IMHO they are a bunch of racist thugs that like a punch up and that won't go away any time soon. They run counter to any civil society not matter your politics and can only make problems of islamist extremism and radicalization worse.

Omg ty for this post. Now i know where his skull/cross emblem looks familiar. Your knights Templar part of the post linked it all for me. I've read about freemasonry a bit and apparently as "the legend" goes, freemasonry started from the knights Templar, which was a select division of soldiers in the crusades. Which explains why he has freemasonry on his Facebook.
The emblems on his uniform are mostly from the Knights templar/ Free masonry

That manifesto/terror book is just wow, its like a guide on how he carried out the attacks,how he prepared for it, from finding covers and all sorts. Even the bit about pretending to be into wow to cover what you are doing.
It even mentions the youth party in the book, and attacking in one place then striking at your real target, it talks about being disguised as a police officer and signaling people then neutrilizing them.

Yeah, I think I know what you meant. This whole thing is an imense tragedy, just makes me so sad!

Breivik is like the worst of radical islam terrorists, just starting from a different point but eventually arrriving at the same insanity and systematic justification.
The only thing he might achieve is probably to make it harder to actually discuss things like immigration and associated problems in a reasonable and fair way.
