thing is, the brain is always looking to fix logical inconsistencies(akin to having an automatic bug-repair system), some/most arisen by the interaction between nature and nurture; it's why people always come back to the same topics.

PS: In 2012 I was on the base of Licancabur during a very frustrating jeep tour. That's what inspired me to find some similar but better accessible mountains in Argentina.
