I am IMPOSSIBLY bad at Overwatch. It is actually not possible, it makes no logical sense that I can be this bad after this many hours into the game. I have no excuse, I am at the time in my life when my reaction times should be at their peak and yet I feel like I'm playing underwater and everyone else is is significantly faster than me. I can't aim worth a fuck, any character that requires any sort of aim is completely outside my skill set and I can't fucking play any position well enough to climb the rankings. This game is nothing but a depressing fucking reminder of how shit I am at most things, that I can't fucking get good at this thing I should obviously be way way way way better at. | ||

The UK traffic system sucks. Well, at least the part of it which i interacted with so far in Belfast. It seems like they really want to avoid general rules that you need to know, but this leads to a system which is working far worse than it could. There does not seem to be a rule that people and cars moving in a straight line have right of way over those doing a turn. This leads to traffic lights being incredibly shittily setup, because you can't have pedestrians and cars having green light at the same time, even if they are moving in the same direction, because cars doing a left turn might collide with pedestrians who walk straight. The solution to this "problem" is that pedestrians simply never get a green light unless they request one. This is just incredibly shit. Why? Who thinks this is a good way of handling this? It means that if you are a pedestrian, every single traffic light is always red. Meaning you always need to request a green light. WHICH THEN LEADS TO ALL OF THE CAR LIGHTS IN ALL DIRECTIONS GOING RED; AND ALL OF THE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS GOING GREEN, for a whole total of 5 seconds. Of course, the end result of this is that all pedestrians ignore the traffic lights completely. When i arrived here, i assumed that it is just a cultural thing, but no, it is simply because the traffic light setup is shit. If you have to wait for 1 minute + at every single traffic light, of course you start to ignore them. All of these problems could be avoided by simply stating that stuff moving in a straight line always has right of way over people doing turns, and then having the pedestrian green light coincide with the car green light in the same direction. But they don't really seem to like right of way here either. In Germany, we have the concept of a road which has right of way over all the (smaller) roads it intersects. It has signs that tell you that it is a road with right of way. This makes stuff really easy. If you are on that road, you don't have to worry about cars coming from the sides. And if you are on another road, you know that you need to give right of way, and there are signs telling you that. This avoids a lot of traffic signs. And this concept simply doesn't seem to exist here. There are very rare occurances of "give right of way" signs, but generally, whenever two roads meet, there is a traffic light. Which, as described above, are really shitty. Oh, and there are no bike paths anywhere to be found (So far, i have discovered a grand total of two bike paths, both about 100m long). So i am left either dealing with the shitty pedestrian light system, or being run over by cars who think that bikes should not drive on their roads. But there are gigantic bus lanes on every road. For some reason. It is very clear that this system is designed by people who really only thought about cars. And it is just...bad. I can get the left-handed traffic. It feels slightly weird, but fine. If you want to do stuff your strange way, it is not really objectively better or worse than driving on the right sight of the road. But the stuff i described above is just strictly worse than the system i am used to from Germany. In Germany, i can usually walk a long way without encountering a red traffic light. And using my bike is really relaxing, because there are bike paths. Here, just getting to places is very stressful and annoying. I am very glad that i don't have to live here. | ||

All cheeses or proxies. I faced the following all in a row: - cannon rush into 4gate stalker all-in - ravager rush - proxy factory cyclones into 4 hellion drop in the main (proxy factory but they made it look like they opened standard) - ling/ravager bust - baneling bust into hydra/ling/bane bust - another baneling bust into nydus hydra/ling/bane - early pool into proxy hatch in my base with zerglings targeting my cybernetics core at the front into zerg turtling behind spines into mass muta (if you play like this you are a horrible person. Like seriously) - proxy cyclone/SCV auto-repair all-in - proxy cyclone into proxy starport cloaked banshee - cannon rush into proxy stargate oracle into DTs (I kid you not. At this point I was losing my mind) - proxy barracks with marines into proxy factory cyclones into proxy starport cloak banshees to attack the main (all proxies in different locations on the map) - standard looking hatch first opening into surprise ling flood (they matched me with someone from Australia so it was 300 ping and I just couldn't micro well enough in that latency to not lose) - another proxy cyclone/SCV auto-repair all-in that looked like a standard opening. Gee, I'm seeing a trend. I finally got a game that wasn't a proxy or cheese, won it, and quit. I've tried playing it a few more times and I'm just getting frustrated and not having fun. The constant proxies in PvT aren't fun and they're ruining my favourite matchup.
