i finally get so pissed off about ZvT i start 14/14ing AND NOW I GET THE FUCKIN SHITTERS THAT SCV SCOUT WITH REAPER OPENINGS ON 1V1 MAPS? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE, WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT

What pisses me off the most is when they don't realize you're on the verge of a great day the whole way through and that whatever thing they are going to bring up 1. is probably petty crap in the first place (often onset by hunger or being tired) 2. could wait till tomorrow (write it in a note and let the person read it the next day, chances are they don't even let you read it).

It's like scoring a perfect in a fighting game. It doesn't actually mean much, but damn does it feel better than eating that jab at the last second. One of the first painful realizations I made when my friends had kids, was that my parents were right when they said I was being a brat because I was hungry/tired. One of the realizations I've made by dating, is that it's something we don't really "grow out of".

I had a presentation last week, along with other groups in my class, about a topic in business/computing where each group created an infographic and presented it. My group's was decent, but nothing noteworthy, and other groups had really good ones. But one group in particular presented about youtube, and in their infographic they included a bar graph regarding the amount of hours of video uploaded per minute on average over the years. I couldn't pull out my phone in the middle of their presentation and take a picture ofc, but I remembered it in particular and it bothered me that 5 people thought this was a good graph to include in their presentation. I drew it below from memory of how they did it.

It irrationally bothers me and makes me mad that 5 independent college students thought that nothing was wrong with the way this graph was presented.

Okay, so several things. Why are the hours on the x-axis? I assume business class teaches math, which includes basics on making graphs (independent on x, dependent on y). What is going on with the scale on the x axis? Like, values on graphs are supposed to increase at a fixed rate, otherwise it makes it confusing to read as a graph. As a bar graph it just looks weird to me.
Why, and this is where this gets me, is there a fucking line! This was probably the thing that really bugged me without knowing it for a while, but the whole point of a curve is to show how trends are changing. Making a straight line when nothing is set to scale completely defeats the purpose of the line.
More shit that's just wrong: why is 2012 in there if there's no data for 2012? There's no data for 2006 there either, so why does it start like that? WHY IS THERE A LINE???
This isn't really an angry post, I'm just kind of aggravated that these people are probably at a higher level of education than me yet stuff like this can happen.

If you don't have many passions in life, or don't wish to share the ones you do have, that's fine, but on no circumstances should you take that as an excuse to give a shitty little laugh and say "I guess I don't do much". That's fucking disgusting. Your good-for-nothing mother shat you out onto this earth for a few decades to experience all that the world has to offer, and you go and not only waste it, but revel in the fact that you're wasting it as we speak. There are skills to learn, places to see, people to meet, and what the hell do you do? "I guess I don't do much haha". That's despicable. If you're going to live your life like that, you might as well not live at all. I don't get in what universe that's supposed to be flirty, because there's absolutely nothing interesting at all in a person who doesn't even want to make themselves interesting. If you killed yourself tomorrow nobody would miss you because there's nothing worth missing.

toss defense is cheesy so they make the pylon cannon. now toss uses it to break terrans wall. which, is needed to stop another cheesy thing, the adept.

army vs army fights only happen when one side is weakened enough by worker harass.

people complain colossus is amovey. so they nerf it and buff immortals add adept. now toss army is like another MMM blob.

they add ravagers because ff is bad. I have never once seen a zerg use a ravager to break a ff. ravager is now the uber roach. another large blob of boring army roach + ravager.

its just like they try to fix one thing and that leads to breaking 3 other things. then its just wait 6 months so maybe people will figure out how to get around this mess? meta will settle itself? that's BULLSHIT. it's like a restaurant serving shitty meal and saying customers will figure out ways to make it taste better by adding their own spices or sth.
