Imagine just for a second that you're actually just the worst at everything you try. And the things you try really really hard it you have to work your ass off to become almost average. Be it games or life goals and experiences. And it all weighs down on you, every new thing which you just know you're awful at, to the point where trying is painful because failure is inevitable. Now add borderline alcoholism and a complete lack of motivation and occasional suicidal thoughts onto it. You've just imagined what it's like to be me, congrats! | ||

Game of the year awards are always contentious which is annoying but I feel the need to participate. I've played Undertale, it's a good game, it's wonderful that a single person managed to build such a world. But the game reviewers who are giving it GOTY under their publications are imbeciles. We've seen The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Rocket league, Ori and the blind forest, Pillars of eternity, and probably some other shit I'm not thinking of off the top of my head. I went from trusting a handful of videogame reviewers, now I can't trust any. I understand the appeal, really I do, but if you'll give the GOTY award to a game it should be at least somewhat well rounded, unless you're in the business of reviewing these kinds of things. Not just the funny quirky creative/clever indy game with semi decent mechanics and a somewhat immersive world. The game of the year IMO is TW3, but there are plenty of games that could also deserve the title. Undertale, though? No, man. No. Fuck this industry. | ||

I have 23 days of civil service left to serve, and the ranks of civil servants and "incapacitated" people are growing stronger each year, to the point that they may have to rethink how this whole thing works. I can't shake the feeling that the day right after I'm done with all of this, like literally the next day, Switzerland will be like "Hey, you know this conscription thing is kind of bullshit anyway, we're going to let it go." | ||
