If you don't get what I'm talking about, get some good headphones and raise the volume. Absolutely sexy hook, you clearly don't know how to dance, or have never been to a sick club. edit: as for the RB nonsense... wow, she layered that with so many levels of autotune it's ridiculous. And the fact that she STILL sounds like garbage shocks me. I guess I should give T-Pain more credit...

I'd just quit while you're ahead, like, after the first sentence. What does his song preference have to do with his dancing or going to "sick" clubs. Your taste and suggestions make me assume that you've probably been to a few sick clubs, slang excluded. Also, autotune has one level, and I'm assuming she didn't have anything to do with mixing it.

Just because it's someone's opinion that something is worse than RB, that means I can't argue against it? Hmm I wish you could realize what site you're on... it's a site where people put out their opinions and others debate them, no matter the topic. He can have his preference, and I can have mine. And speaking of preferences, if you're going to defend his right to his preference, being hypocritical and taking swipes at others' is quite a funny thing to do. Perhaps you didn't notice, but you've already fallen down your hole, and I don't mean a hole in the ground. And please. I've danced in national hip hop competitions, so I think I can enjoy whatever clubs I like k =) And by the way, you know Autotune is a sliding scale, and therefore has an infinite number of levels, right? ............. hmm...........

First, I didn't defend his preference, I pointed out the fact that you're trying to justify his dancing skills based on his opinion on a single song: "Absolutely sexy hook, you clearly don't know how to dance, or have never been to a sick club." I'd say that's pretty obtuse. Also, you changed your definition of "level" to volume in your comeback, you originally meant levels akin to "layers". I'm sure if you disagree with this, somehow you'll negate my merit as an English teacher. I think I've realized what site I'm on for quite a while now, and I'm seriously struggling to realize a feasible way for you to justify a baseless comment about "how this site works". It's definitely lost a lot of quality posters the last year or so. No need to defend myself from you, pal. Please add to the community instead of detracting.

Along these lines, now that Rebecca is so well known for the "Friday" disaster, people on the internet will give this "My Moment" song a lot of unnecessary attention - such as sharing it with more people saying "this is the worst song ever" etc. It really isn't even close to on the level of "Friday" bad. What other pop songs do you share with everyone you know? None? Thank you internet, for legitimatizing Rebecca Black.

Right back at you - stop and take a look at all your posts so far. model citizen, you. And please don't throw this 'negate your merit as an english teacher' nonsense at me. I'm of course not trying to insult your profession in any way, but please don't use that sad argument that 'if I disagree, I'm diminishing your "merit as an English teacher"'. That might work with random high school students, but please, if you're really going to pull that nonsense out, how about this: you're arguing definitions with someone who pulled 800's in both English sections of the SAT and could've majored in English at any Ivy League university. Am I really now "negating your merit as an English teacher"? And since you really had to say it, I never changed my definition of "level" to volume, I don't even know where you got this. And please, are you seriously trying to argue petty semantics on an internet thread about Rebecca Black? Layers vs Levels? Really? I'll stop this nonsense here, feel free to write another clever response, I won't see it. I admit I guess argued with you also because I was kinda looking for an argument with someone who thinks witty one-liners wins arguments. Let's go back to the internet where logic doesn't matter anymore and arguments are lost in antiquated threads which only get resurrected by the incredibly bored. and though it's futile, in a last attempt to contribute: At least we know Cher can sing:

She waits for the bus only to get picked up by her friend's car which is driven by an underage and she thinks about which seat she can take while there is only one left. Who made the storyboard for that video?Along these lines, now that Rebecca is so well known for the "Friday" disaster, people on the internet will give this "My Moment" song a lot of unnecessary attention - such as sharing it with more people saying "this is the worst song ever" etc. It really isn't even close to on the level of "Friday" bad. In the end I think most haters are jelly that Rebecca Black – who cannot really sing, but still looks good – gets so much attention while the hater don't ever gets noticed. Even if he crushes a 2-rax in his silver league division.
