Might as well tell other sex offenders, "hey guys, we gonna punish you if you do this, but just for two months, but no jail time!". So I guess you can do it many times you want. South Korea's law is a complete joke. | ||

It seems they tend to "hush" things up like this instead of dealing with it. Especially as they try to be more international. | ||

There other suicides of actresses in the past if I remember correctly (like Lee Eun Joo (이은주) from the drama Firebird (불새)). I remember reading that her suicide had to do with some kind of nude pictures and/or some kind of sexual concern which led to depression and eventually death. Reading about this actress, I didn't know the problem with secretly forced sex was this big. I really hope the Korean police force bring these criminals to justice and prevent future suicides of wonderful actresses. | ||

@Kinky - Thanks for linking that, that blog was an eyeopener and a 5/5 read. At first I was incredibly shocked to hear Jang Ja-Yeon's story, but after reading the blog I'm a little less traumatized. | ||
