No offense on your watch man, it's a really good looking piece like I said. I just feel the baller rank more fits the Portuguesers, submariners, royal oaks and above

Guys, I'm in the middle of a watchless period.

Can you recommend any LARGE watches that still are stylish? I know it's not much to go by, but :D

I recommend my watch cuz it is large, sexy, baller, and even though it retails for $595 (I actually managed to get it on sale tho), people probably gonna guess it to be worth $1000+ since it's Burberry:

It might be Burberry, but it's still only Fossil.

lol I don't care if they're made in the same factories as Fossil. Just compare Burberry models to Fossil models. The Burberry models look a hell of a lot more elegant and stylish than most Fossil models imho.

I haven't worn a watch since I left the military. I don't wear jewellery and, since phones became mobile and have clocks, that's what watches have become.

I still have the same Casio G-shock in a drawer which I am regularly surprised still keeps time perfectly after 10 years of sitting there feeling neglected.

No worries, Fossil also makes Relic, Abacus, Emporio Armani, Michele Watch, Skagen, Karl Lagerfeld, Zodiac, DKNY, Armani Exchange, Columbia, Diesel, Frank Gehry, Michael Kors, Callaway Golf, Davis Cup, Marc Jacobs and Adidas.

Not that they happen to make them at the same factory, they actually own manufacturing licenses and designs. Much like Luxxotica makes almost all the eyewear you can find at any given store.

This is my watch. While I probably wouldn't call it the most stylish watch out there, it was a gift and I really enjoy it. If I ever manage to leave the house without I always fell incomplete.

So what's your point? Those are all fashion watches, there's not a decent brand in there.
And unlike eyewear, there ARE several well-establish brands that can give you a quality product for the price.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Burberry, I am of the opinion that if you really like the design of the watch it's all that matters. However, if I were to spend over $200 on a watch, I would choose a brand that's been making watches for decades/centuries, not Diesel or Adidas who are making clothes.

Examples in that price range are many, from Seiko/Citizen/Casio/Orient to Hamilton/Altantic/Certina/Tissot/ and to lesser known names such as Christopher Ward, Steinhart, Philip Watch, etc.
These are companies that dedicate themselves to watches and thus are using quality movements, good materials, nice craftsmanship, etc. With fashion brands you spend 50% on the brand itself and then 50% of what's left on the design. The watch itself is not "worth" the money unless you really like it, and you can't find another that will please you.
Im not a n00b, I just play like one.

I have a relic from the 90's, originally a gift for my dad, but it's been collecting dust for the last 15+ years or so, I decided that I'd try it on. People commented that it makes me look "old", but otherwise I find it satisfying. Also - I've never met anyone wearing Baume et Mercier in my life at all. Most people would have to ask twice about the brand.

The picture I found on the web is black, mine is white, but it is the same model otherwise:

My actual one, taken with my almost-as-old camera:

The rim is 18karat gold, which unfortunately, I've bruised it too many times . The weird thing about this watch is the the pairings of the hands, the big seconds hand is actually for a timer, while the real seconds hand is in the back.
