Thanks. I got it from a store called "bam boo" where they sell all kinds of house decorations (candles, clocks, etc.). It was in the "jewelry boxes" section.
But you can easily find similar ones on ebay/amazon by searching for watch display box or such.

Simple and cheap, but it works great, and I love the date display it has. The backlight is surprisingly bright, so when im staggering around the house looking for food at 2 am its pretty useful.. I love the normal watches with arms, but the digital helps me get the exact time easier for when i do logs at work!

I've got 2 I generally wear. I like the Invicta line a lot, so I plan on getting a few more pieces from there. I do like my Marc Ecko watch a lot though because it's silver, and it goes with practically everything. The watch face is a bit large though which may put some off.

I looooove this watch (and no, it's not 'cuz I'm danish). The whole blue thing just seems to work. I'd prolly change to a link/chain thingie. I can see it would be less comfortable, but in my personal opinion it's prettier

My Tissot PR50 from a few years back, broke when I foolishly ran it under hot water and got steam in the case, it'll cost me more to fix it then I originally paid for it but I'll still do it eventually for nostalgic reasons.

You guys inspired me to get an automatic (mechanical, powered by wrist movement, no quarz) watch. Thank you for that! After lurking on several watch forums I recently ordered this Seiko 5 (SNK809), can't wait for it to arrive

Edit: watch arrived, and I love it. The bracelet was a bit iffy, though. So I put it on leather (Hirsch Liberty). Image stolen from some watchforum since I'm a shitty photographer

For anyone not familiar with the technology used in mechanical watches, here's a great little movie that explains (first 3m16 are VERY 1940ies, after that it gets more technical

I know that one. It's a great little watch (and i say little because it's a bit small for my tastes).

The one thing you might be put off by is the lack of accuracy that comes with the 7S26 movements, but if you're a bit lucky you could have something reasonably accurate (<10s/day), and there's nothing like feeling an automatic on your wrist.
