Been in a few when I was younger. Best to avoid because normally it's just drunk rage. In first year I was watching a fight, one fellow got punched and hit his head on the cement and died. Its not glorious as seen on TV.

I have never fought because being 6'3 and 220 pounds I am scared about what I could do if I got out of control. Also I have seen times when my friends start something with a few guys and a week later they get cornered by 10 guys. Not my idea of fun.

Some cocky fat kid slapped me in high school so I punched him in the face. He started crying so it was over. Until he sued me.

I figured I would as well. My instructor is really cool though and understood the situation. I actually didn't get in any trouble either since it was self defense. The school did call the police though so I was pretty scared at the time lol.

When I was like 13 at a water park with a wave pool in AZ and this kid stole my raft for riding waves. My little sister told me who took it and I went over and told him to give it back. He refused so I grabbed the raft and pushed him under water and shook him around with it until he let go. Pretty crazy thing for me to do as I am a very calm and nice person, but I sure as shit wasn't going to pay 5$ for another raft. Good memories.

First fight was in 6th grade, when it was the first day of rec american football, and a kid tapped a ball next to my helmet, so I knock the ball out of his hands, and then we go at it. We're grabbing each other's helmets and shit. We didn't punch or kick much because we had heavy pads on. And he was two grades older than me, so I was pretty proud of the fight. The coach seperated us though.
Next fight was in 8th grade, where a kid was demonstrating some kind of choke hold or something, and he grabs my head and puts it next to locker to demonstrate, and he was actually a pretty good friend of mine, but something just ticks when someone touches my head in any harmful way even if it is just pretend, and I just went apeshit on him. I punched him in the face three times. I couldn't kick him because my legs were caught in my pants, as I was changing just then(we just came out of gym). I would have fought more, but he didn't do anything after I punched him, and stumbled back and just went away.
Next fight in the same grade, some kid says he punched hard, so I say punch me. I know, its a really dumbass thing to do, but I was in 8th grade, and had a shit of testosterone going on. So in a bathroom, he punches me, and again, I went crazy. I highkicked him in the face, and just started pounding on him. High kick learned from taekwondo btw.
All of these fights were in american schools, and I havn't gotten in a fight since. But who knows, I probably will fight again, I'm only a junior in high school.
Oh yeah, and I've almost always had some regret after these fights except for the football one. He was older than me, and shouldn't have messed with younger kids. I felt bad about hitting my friend though, and we got over it, and we're still pretty good friends.

Yes. To the ones who say fighting doesnt solve anything..... well it solved for me... everytime. Makes me wonder if I had fought more if things would be easier now.... probably. Duels should be allowed...

Life would be so much better if all quarrels were settled with hockey fights.

I just read your name and remembered the fight Holden had with Stradlater in Catcher in the Rye. I read the book again a few weeks ago. Such a damn good book.

I used to fight a lot in middle school. This one time in 6th grade the class monitor comes up to me as I'm playing my gameboy (pokemon ftw) and says he has to confiscate it. I say no, and he starts being a little bitch about it, saying "I'm going to have to tell Mrs. Evans (our homeroom teacher)" etc etc. So I tell him to shut the fuck up and he gets pissed and starts trying to wrestle the gameboy out of my hand. No way in hell I was letting him take it, so I drop the game, and pop a right hook in his temple. He goes down right away and is dazed for a good 5 minutes or so.
Another time, when I was a bit older (I was 14), this fat kid who weighed 200 pounds to my 120 comes up to me and starts playfighting with me. He starts slapping me in the face, and accidentally hit my nose. And when you hit someone in the nose, they get disoriented and really pissed off. So I snapped and highkicked him on the side of the head (even I was surprised because he was a good 6 inches taller than me). He goes down like a sack of potatoes and I stand over him and go like "don't you dare do that again."

Only once, and only because the other guy attacked me first. Then a friend of mine who practices kickboxing intervened, it wasn't pretty lol. I'd rather avoid another fight if possible.

I got into several fights during college. MOST of them were for good reasons, and I don't regret any of them.
Quick list of a few: 1.) We were having a fraternity party. One of our friends passed out. Some random GDI's took her out to their car and started messing with here. No one noticed until she came in screaming and crying. We ran out to their car and beat ass.
2.) I was at a bar. Guy swung on me, so I broke a bottle on his face. Bouncer's had my back.
3.) Rugby Party... Fights just happen at rugby parties.
The trick though, once you get out of high school, is to not be legally "at fault" for the fight. Make sure you win, but there better be a lot of people around to say that you were only defending yourself.

just remember that street fights are nothing like mma. people get stabbed a lot over stupid stuff like this. Working at a hospital it happens pretty much every other night.

Yeah this is also partly why I'd never want to be in a street fight; you have no idea what people are carrying.
I used to train Kali for a while and the instructor was a fucking monster with a knife but he looked like some regular joe. He also carried about 3 or 4 razor sharp knives on him at all times. Pretty scary fellow.
