If China chose passivity in a war versus North Korea, things could go very smoothly. If not O_O.

No matter what happens, stay safe guys. I'm in the US but about 15% of my school is Korean/born from Korea so I know a lot of people potentially affected by this.

But this seriously has just gone too far, the ship sinking would have been the last straw 50 years ago, when hatred was still very fresh in everyone's mind. But now a war would be absolutely devastating. I agree that NK needs to be punished for their obvious transgressions, but again, no one should ever want war.

The lack of foreign intervention in this is rather appalling, though. I'm straining to remember how the UN sanctions work; would China opting against sanctions halt or limit the ability of the UN in this scenario? Edit: I'm aware that some sanctions have already been placed, and that the UN is limited in what it can really do; but it's frustrating to see this kind of thing being (more or less) tolerated by the global community.

War is hell, forreal =( I rather just keep it as it is now - a fantasy in a video game.

I will play all the destructive and pewpew games I can, but events in the real world that might mean serious things ahead of us is realy not making my day brighter when joked about. But as people are telling me now: Drink some coffee and cheer the frack up, not end of the world yet.
