it's weird. every time I even mention that game, I get an urge to play it. I hope my savegame still works, cause now I'm gonna load it up.
I think Marrowind is very well made, prolly the best. But it is way too easy.
Morrowind is somehow cool. I never liked RPG games, but I really enjoyed this one. I've burned my savegames to a CD, because I left country for one year and have no possibility to play it here. But: "I'll be back!"

Shining Force is the shit and theres a new one that just came out for game boy ^^, but FF7 takes my #1 vote followed closely by FF8.

the only one i played was ff8 and i liked that a lot. it wasnt fun to play at all, but for some reason i got liked playing it. great storyline too oh, i played pokemon too, a long time ago on the kid i had to babysit his gameboy, pretty funny, wouldve been better without the pokemon
umm, now i want to play it again, wheres my playstation.
btw, are there any other good rpgs on the playstation?

im suprised there isnt much mention of FFT. That always comes up in this thread/subject.
I never bothered to finish the game personally, i was spoiled by Shining Force game play, where there was a zoom in to the battle. There was no going back for me.

I think its my laptop tho I need a better computer tt
Boy I sure do love my American job where I get so little taxes taken and can spend money on whatever I want, should the need arise. Maybe I'll buy myself a new computer... aw heck how about 5 new computers!
Favorite RPG is a toss-up among Phantasy Star IV (Genesis) FF6 (SNES) and Might and Magic: World of Xeen (PC). I've already raved about the first two, but World of Xeen was just so incredibly huge. It was cool, I bought my first CRPG, Clouds of Xeen. There were sections of the game near the end that you couldn't get to (and this game was gigantic as it was). Then a few months later my friend bought Darkside of Xeen, which was even BIGGER. When you install both of them together, you can freely travel from one side of the world to the other and special quests are also unlocked which require you to hop all around the world. There are also really fun and crazy challenges for super-skilled players so there is plenty of incentive to continue playing even after you've won (which takes probably 3 weeks if you're really moving fast). My other friend bought World of Xeen which was both games together, but in addition to the full game it also included speech for every single NPC in the game. Might and Magic: World of Xeen was probably the last really good computer RPG, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you see it for download anywhere, and aren't afraid of DOS games, go ahead and pick it up and give it a try. You will not be disappointed =)

Lol? Pokemon's not a RPG =[. FF7 sucked balls compared to say FF6 even. The thing had a fairly predictable plot etc. =[.
