yeah, my parents are thinking of giving me a drug test for marijuana. What is the fastest way to get it out of my system? hints and personal experiences would be useful. thx. im assuming the test i would receive would be a urine test because that is what is used to test marijuana right?

I went clean for 4 months, and still failed. A friend smoked up before his test and passed. The tests are an absolute joke and are known for their inaccuracies which is why they can't be used as solid evidence in a court of law, so don't sweat it. If you fail a marijuana drug test for a company and they try to fire you, you can sue and easily win.

there is a new test which can be used as solid evidence in a court of law. Its called the hair follicle test. Basically when you do any kind of drug, it is carried throughout your bloodstream and ends up in your hair at the root. As your hair grows out, there is a tiny band of residual drug inside the hair itself, which they can use to figure out how long ago you used based on the distance the band is from your scalp. In those cases, you would have to cut all your hair off after it has grown out a little.

Anyway, at least your parents arent total dumb fucks and already know you do drugs. Passing a test is likely not going to make them believe you, or else they wouldnt be asking for it in the first place.

tell them you smoke and that you enjoy smoking and that it doesn't ruin your life and argue coherently and fact based.

then ask them whether or not they'd test you for alcohol if they suspected that you were drinking. if they say no tell them alcohol is more dangerous than weed is. (something you shouldn't have trouble finding facts to back you up on)

now, if it does ruin your life and you're unable to argue coherently and fact based, you should stop. you should also stop if your parents hate it so much that they'd disown you for smoking, because honestly having a healthy relationship with your parents is more important than getting high.

i am not smoker.. i smoker twice recently for first time in life. parents are thinking of giving me drug test randomly just after i smoked for first 2 times in my life.. bad luck. thx for help guys, just drank 5 cups of water and im gonna buy some cranberry juice. :-d

uh, we're not your parents here 'poland', no need to lie to us. My parents have never once even questioned if i had done drugs, and i never have. Parents dont just say "hey, instead of asking, or spying, or going through his room, lets just give our own child a drug test because we dont even believe the words coming out of his mouth" if its on your first 2 times. Fess up, your parents have good reason to believe you smoke weed.

Anyhow, i dont think explaining to them the harmlessness of it will do any good, because while it may be true, there is never an innocent reason for doing it. And what motivates someone to want to use a drug rather than regular every day experience is something to be worried about.

Btw, you need to drink more like 5 GALLONS of water per day, not 5 cups, jeez.
