G6 is an abbreviation of G6/3, which is a 1st inversion G major chord (referring to the intervals between the bass and upper voices). Maybe if you're referring to Jazz or some other sort of Pop music G6=GBDE, but in classical harmony it's BEG or BGE User was warned for this post | ||
