I didn't hate it. I thought it was okay. It took the same concept as the War of the Worlds. Personally I thought Unbreakable was his best movie, though. | ||

Now when MNS char runs off towards the lake, because none of the crop cirles or sightings is never near bodies of water, the connection is finally made and the girls pet peeve pays off. She never drinks a full glass of water because it is "contaiminated" she always leaves a half full glass of water, all around the house. Now when they finally see the alien mel has the flahsback and tells his brother to swing, he understands grabs his bat from the wall and swings at the alien, and continues to hit him. The alien finally falls and glasses of water that are on the dfresser fall on the alien, killing it. Now they inject the medicine into the boy and he finally comes to, thus when the attack is over they all survive, and u see it flash on towards winter where Mel Gibson comes out of the bathroom in his priest dressing for he is now in with the group that believes it was a miracle and he returns to the practice. | ||

but hey, the point being 'Signs' was a good movie. It reminds me of that 'movie' shown on upn which showed a family and friends being abducted one by one, but it was a hoax and im too lazy and impatient to explain it. | ||

some scenes were really scary btw, e.g. the door and the scene of an alien walking by. no sudden sounds or camera movements and still it was scary as hell. i think not even event horizon scared me that much and i consider event horizon the best shocker ever. | ||

It's not about God. It's not about Aliens. It's one person's view of what faith really is. Shyamalan is trying to say the blind faith is no faith. To simply believe something because a book tells you to, or because you parents did, is not real faith. That's why Mel's character loses his faith, because it's not real. From there, he tells us that the world isn't made up of random coincidences, and that everything happens for a particular reason. Whether you believe this or not is one thing, but to simply dismiss it and say the movie sucks because you didn't believe the filler story about Aliens is ridiculous. | ||
