Mostly in class and such I just put one ankle over the other and have an extreme slouch going on (habit I need to break). I sit with my ankles crossed too, almost all the time, whether or not I'm slouching or sitting up straight. Weird habit, never really paid much attention to it.

I call it the Shady Drug Dealer Mankle-Cross. Works even better with a hoodie on while smoking a cigarette.

word. "It's the only manly way to sit" - I'm sorry kid, but when you actually grow up and mature some, no one gives a f--k about how you sit. Ofc some heads are gonna tilt if you're at the bus stop going like this: ![]() Apart from that tho, it's just generally accepted that no one gives a shit, as long as you're comfortable ;> This reminds me actually, of another thread where a kid was asking about college. He was wondering if he would be bullied there, like he was in high-school. In the about 80 answers he got, question 1 and 2 varied, but #3(do they bully in college?) got 100% clear No. Why? Because they're not idiots with nothing better to do. Most people at 17-18+ don't have the time nor energy to partake in such a ridicilous activity. So sit the way you feel the most comfortable with! thewirequote: shieeeeeet! God, when did I suddenly become the fucking supersittingpositiondefenderofalltime? -__-

On topic : I actually cross my legs both ways. I rarely cross my legs from knee to knee; oddly enough I actually had it that way when i discovered this thread lol When i was younger i always thought it was considered gay-like even though my dad did it himself. I even tried it then and didnt find it as comfortable as the knee-to-ankle way but I find it comfortable now and do it publicly. I really don't care if someone may think im gay because of it. I feel secure enough in my sexuality that I wont start feeling gay because some people may think i look gay.
