I do the ankle-knee 90 degree variant most often. If I'm just relaxing at home, chances are I'm sitting on my foot. I'd sit "indian style" on my chair if it wasn't broken and tilting forward. If I'm reclining I'll have my feet propped up on something (computer case most likely) and my ankles crossed.

I put my left ankle on my right leg mostly, but I dislike it because my foot falls asleep after a while

I will generally cross at the ankles or do the ankle-knee thing. Maybe it's because I have thicker thighs, but I find it incredibly uncomfortable to totally cross my legs at the knees... it's right at the point where it's downright painful. It always intrigued me when I saw guys sitting like that... Is it not uncomfortable for you? o.O
