That server thing is not that problem I think.. I am now almost 3 years Webmaster in the Broodwar Scene, so I should find a solution for it..
And that it isn't easy.. I believe that, I have basic programming skills, and those help only to recognize that its hard. But I also know someone who made a emule version, so perhaps he can do something. But lets see and hope.

Because with JCAs code for the replay files, we could create a Client, with that you could search for Usernames, Maps, APMs etc.. With a common client that would be impossible. Except the clients company gives us a modified version of it

Now I see...but I think it's too much work and little benefit, cos only a few people will use it. There was a direct connect VOD hub that almost nobody used, so it went down.

I could program something similar using PHP and XML-RPC API. Of course this would need the cooperation of JCA. It would work such as it gathers the information of the replay from BWCHART into a txt file (which i think it already does) sends it through to the server which updates the list of replays etc. and people could download either off the person's computer (program a small web server or use one already exists) or off maybe bittorrent client or something. A bit sketchy but it's a start.

It would be a LOT easier to just make a RWA website. There are many more php-monkies around that can do that, than there are people competent to design a P2P protocol.

JCA has no time for it, I already asked him.. the replay/RWA page thing is not the problem, I am already working on one where also clans can upload their replays. What we need is a news server and staff for that and some little improvements in the script. As a webmaster I have scripters here of course

But that thing I try to make should be a easy control standalone filesharing client. It wouldn't be so much work, first of all emule is open source and JCAs rep dlls too. But I know anybody who can C++ good enough. I know somebody who would make a filesharing client with java easily, but he has no possibilty to use that rep dlls.. So if you know somebody who can convert the file information in java, that would solve all problems too..

Oh, theres nothing hard about it, but think of the possibilities.. you can get much more replays, everyone can share his own too, so if you are interested in sbds skills, just look for a replay from his game. There would be much more replays because everybody shares them..

Yes please, someone do a site for people to upload their RWAs so I can use my replaywithaudio.com domain name for it

What concerns the ProgrammerSearch, thx, but I don't need anybody anymore. The work is half way done..

Lets hope that we have it here very soon.
But another question, is there any huuuuuge korean progaming company who wants to run a server for that thing?

No, we have a server for the case. But if anybody wants to make that, I won't say no.. He says it's not much traffic.

btw. that prog will not use much resources, so you can let it run in the background. Think of it. Tournament Replays as soon as the games are played. Replays from every player using that. I am myself looking forward to see it in action.
