Yay, I get to do tons of engineering hw today  . I'll be seeing so many pi's, I'll get sick of it XD. Anyone else?

The calc text I had in grd 12 in Ontario (I am now 26, turning 27 this year)... was the SAME TEXTBOOK my brother had in 1st year calc at the University of Notre Dame... Arguing something is HS vs College calc is somewhat pointless.. it matters where you went to school .

Kindof wondering why they would use a highschool textbook at univerity but ok ^^ I only hope he didn't study math

Canadian high school, US university.... I'm not saying Canada > Us, as the calc couse he took was the required calc course for all ND students (all ND students take a standard 1st year, so people that skipped calc in highschool in the US due to going into arts or something, have to be able to understand this one)... He was a business student, I assume math majors get more difficult courses.

Since the complex vectorspace is essentially 2 dimensional,you can't write down this equation.
Because you would have to introduce a topology to measure the length of the complex vector, i.e. you can't just compare complex and real numbers like you can't just compare a vector and a number, it doesn't make any sense.
