Didn't see this posted anywhere (did a search already), ignore if this is a repost.
This site allows you to create a "chatroom" where your friends can join (up to 4 for now i think). The host can paste in youtube URLs and load it for everyone. The host is now the person controlling the play/pause/location of video for everyone.
You can watch it with friends now without someone that's 5 seconds ahead of you scream "omgomgomgomg" before you get to the peak action. Still fairly new so not a whole lot of features... I'd like to see the ability to do full screen, and maybe the youtube video description.

This is pretty awesome. I would like to watch music videos in sync with other people to see their reactions to different parts of videos. If you send someone a youtube-link, there's like a 50% chance they won't even watch it lol

OMG I ALWAYS "FAKELIVE" with pyrogenetix when we awtch vods lol.. ok stupid name for watching in sync but thats what we made up for it hahaha and we had to do this whole countdown thing on msn and constantly type the time out.
then it was like ok you pause for like 2 seconds kk oh shit now i'm faster ok i'll pause and unpause. kkk zerglnigs like chasing scv around right then like more zerglings out yea??? kkkk in sync man shits cool

it works, but waiting for ppl the buffer is srsly annoying. we're always less than a second off, but i guess its good enough

Don't really need this but nice anyway. When I watch youtube with friends over the internet we usually count down from 3 and start at 0.

me and my college dormmate sitting across from each other (but not facing each other) used to sync new Bleach anime episodes together, such that we would have surround sound (due to his and my speakers) and we would be like "OHHHMGGG!!! dsafjdsfks" at the same times irl, good times.

This site really needs to be revisited, they've done a lot of improvements since the last time I checked. They added a playlist function and the ability to watch with up to a 100 people. Definitely should get a TL group channel going.

I just watched all of American History X with a bunch of /b/tards making n-word jokes followed by Gary, Spongebob's pet cat thing recite poetry which consisted of the repetition of the n-word that was from an actual black guy saying it. To top it all off, it was followed by horses mating.
I'm not sure whether to praise the OP for this find or to turn him to religion. My mind is full of fuck as to the way people use this site... LOL!

I remember trying this site a few months ago but there were a lot of bugs and I kept getting dropped when hosting a video with others at random times, also when they hosted. It's a great idea and I'd definitely use it more if they fixed some of the bugs.

Yeah I popped into one of the 4chan channels last night and there were a lot of people watching at once without any issues. The best part is they put you right in the middle of the video they're watching, at the exact spot everyone sees, instead of just the beginning of the video. They've really improved the syncing by leaps and bounds.
