Haha i drink tap water all the time i'm not paying a buck per 14oz vs like 4 cents or w.e the going rate is at such a small level but i know tap is ffs cheaper by ffs amounts. Lol What you taste is usually calcium and the other vitamins that are pumped into that water. Major cities for the most part in the US are safe to drink their tap water a few parts in the northeast where the underground aqueduct for ny water goes has issues, as the system is old and is leaking water up to the residents along it's path to the ny poisoning their water all before it ever reaches the treatment plants for ny :D If you bathe in the dam water yet it's not good enough to drink? Why would i clean myself in water that i wouldn't drink. What are you playing in the shower

Also, outside of the U.S I would say Bosnia/Croatia/Serbia all have very clean tap water.

The calcium and lime caked on it is so gross. On December 13 2009 19:13 Traveler wrote: Why I love costco... tons of super cheap bottled water. (of course I am also a mineral water fan) Otherwise I would have to drink the San Diego water, of course not sure it applies for Rancho Santa Fe water. I use a filter pitcher thing. It's pretty neat, and a LOT cheaper than using bottled water. On December 13 2009 19:30 lOvOlUNiMEDiA wrote: PH you are a noob. I challenge you to a 1v1 on bgh. Umm...do I know you? You guys have it good. Back in China, drink tap water is the preferred choice for skipping school lol. Boiling water kills microbes, but doesn't help in cleaning up water with excess minerals and other substances in it. :\ and LOL about in China. hahaha. I always drink the tap water when I am in China and I have never had any stomach trouble. I usually drink the tap water wherever I go , I even drank the water in Luxor, Egypt from my $2 a night hostel, which was probably pumped straight from the Nile. Sometimes I get a little cocky when thinking what my stomach can handle. I wonder where Vancouver ranks, probably pretty highly for a city of its size, the water is also super soft so it tastes really good.

Well I don't live in Omaha, Ne but I'm pretty sure my water comes from there. Dont you use hot (boiling) water when you make tea? In that case it should be safe.

One of my high school history teachers drank tap water in Egypt and nearly died from dehydration after getting the runs.
