You guys have it good. Back in China, drink tap water is the preferred choice for skipping school lol. Ahaha, this made me chuckle a bit :p. I'm not sure about the status of Norwegian tap water, but I have to admit that I've sometimes suspected it of giving me a loose stomach. For the most part, it's really sweet though. Tastes way better than bottled water. Don't forget to let the water run for a while before drinking it. Water stuck in the pipes overnight aren't good for your health.

also, wasn't there a report about u.s. drinking water awhile back and the EPA not being able to regulate because some of the pollutants corporations were putting into the water weren't on the clean water act or something? frontline video (2hrs) http://video.pbs.org/video/1114515379/ oh nvm found an ARTICLE excerpt "More than 20 percent of the nation’s water treatment systems have violated key provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act over the last five years, according to a New York Times analysis of federal data. That law requires communities to deliver safe tap water to local residents. But since 2004, the water provided to more than 49 million people has contained illegal concentrations of chemicals like arsenic or radioactive substances like uranium, as well as dangerous bacteria often found in sewage."

According to my biology teacher, when we talked about water awhile back he said that Finland had the best tap water in the world as a country, with Sweden soon behind it. The city i live in is on the top 10 of the best tapwater in sweden. We were number 1 in the past.

I know on Long Island the water is garbage. They can't drink the water there because of the sea water (elevation is so low).
