It's quite a bit different reading handwriting as opposed to fonts on a screen. I have trouble reading a few characters that are handwritten most of the time, but I could read this guy's girlfriend's message quite easily.

first, thanks for the translation. my girlfriend isn't japanese, she's chinese. she just knows japanese pretty well and she knows i can't read it (i am chinese).

had a bad fight last night regarding long distance issues. im working in los angeles and shes going to school in san diego (1.5 hour commute). I visit a lot (about 3 times a week) and really make the effort to show dedication cuz she's an awesome girl, but the distance is wearing her down and shes basically telling me she won't be happy unless i live near/with her.

im not sure what to do at this point. should i stay with her and try my best knowing she'd be pretty unhappy or should i let her go and find someone who could be near her?

her own opinion is that she doesn't want anyone else, she just wants me to move... but its difficult for me to move because i just started working here and my family is here as well (in LA).

opinions?

Also, there is definitely something psycho about writing notes on people's legs in languages they can't understand. I think you need to realize that it's time to move on (from the information you presented, anyway), and find someone in your area who will give you more back and won't be a maniac.
