I'll never forget when 3 000 or so Roma fans outsang the entire full Old Trafford despite being down 7-1. ![]() Lol the crowds in the premier league are more " tame" because of the crackdown against the hardcore supporters. I'll agree with you that it's great to see passionate fans, but just because a group of fans is rowdier it doesn't mean that they're more quality fans.

You can bet that would never happen if it was an important EPL game. heh, i was going to make a similar post :v i wish all the stadiums in the premiership were like upton park, fratton park, craven cottage etc. the older stadiums are way better but obviously they're not as economically feasible, or however you want to spin corporate football bullshit. also, terraces instead of all seaters. and lower ticket prices. and later kickoffs.

Don't get me wrong people, I am definitely not saying there aren't any passionate supporters in England, that would be a pretty silly thing to say, wouldn't it? I do however think it's sad that the ones who are gets silenced. While it's great that you can ''bring your children to the stadium'', there could at least be like in Roma's stadium where there are sections where more casual people can sit (the longside, which is what we saw on the television and makes us think the crowd looks lame and deficient in quantity), and then there's Curva Sud where all the awesome romanisti can go. Look at these views from yesterdays game: ![]() That's what a football crowd should look like! They stand up, sing and wave their flags majestically throughout the game. PL represents everything I don't like about modern football, where everything is about making money. It brings success, yes, but at what cost? Fucking soul eating, money gloating Glazer. Go FC United! And that song is gay. Really fucking gay.

CSKA could face Champions League expulsion Tuesday, 8 December 2009 21:56 CSKA Moscow could be thrown out of the Champions League and banned from future competitions because of positive drugs tests for two of their players following a match against Manchester United. Russian defenders Alexei Berezutsky and Sergei Ignashevich have been provisionally suspended from all games after positive doping tests for a banned stimulant. The random tests were carried out following the Champions League clash with Manchester United on November 3 which ended in a 3-3 draw. UEFA's disciplinary committee will hear the case on December 17 but under the European body's regulations, if more than one player tests positive for banned drugs action can be taken against the team. Part of Article 12 of UEFA's disciplinary regulations states: 'If more than one player from the same team is charged with a doping offence in relation to a prohibited substance or methods the team in question may be disqualified from the competition in progress and/or future competitions.' The Russian club have defended the players and claim it was down to a 'clerical error'. CSKA claimed that both players had been given Sudafed while battling colds on international duty, but CSKA's medical staff had failed to include the medication on a list handed to UEFA following the clash with United. 'The problem is that during the doping control procedures a clerical error was made by employees within our medical staff,' said the statement on www.pfc-cska.com. 'For the players and for the club this news was truly shocking. Unfortunately, we do not yet fully understand all the circumstances of the case, but we have nothing to hide, and we believe our fans should be made aware of that. 'This situation has arisen in connection with the treatment of our players from a severe cold during their time with the national team, and not in any way with doping, which is also known by the relevant bodies within UEFA.'
