Totti, the football bonjwa, FTW! Fiorentina missed some key players though.

Overall, they played much better. The first half was kinda balance, both teams had their chances. Though MU totally ruled in the second. IIRC, MU was at 79% possession, that's sheer domination right there. And let's face it, two, if not all three, of MC's goals were because of individual mistakes from the other side. The first goal was a stupid mistake by Foster, as he tried to hold the ball. The second goal was a brilliant strike by Bellamy, but it was Evra who started the attack. And the third goal, well, Ferdinand ... nuff said ...

Totti, the football bonjwa, FTW! Fiorentina missed some key players though. Not really, they had Frei, Mutu, Gilardino, Gamberini and Montolivo. The only one missing was Vargas. First half was complete and utter rape. Totti played more like the trequartista that he used to be, which is awesome. His technique and vision is out of this world, it's truly a joy to behold. How many back-heel passes did he make during the game? Grande Totti! Forza Roma!

did he run in front of the city fans and celebrate?
i didnt see it during the game or on motd, not sure what youre talking about

Fergie compounded City's misery by jumping up and down with Gary Neville before joking with the officials on the touchline, who all of a sudden became his new best mates. It looked suspiciously like he said "cheque's in the post, lads," but then my lip reading has never been spot on.
how can anyone read shit like this and take it seriously
that sounds its written by a petulant 12 year old
although, that's two major game breaking calls that webb hasnt given tottenham that have been stonewall penalties. my definition of stonewall: on both mutv and chelseatv, they both immediately said that it should have been a penalty and those two sets of commentators are the most biased i have ever heard
bbc has convinced me that a correct amount of time was played, i feel that the goal was fair even though i was outraged immediately afterwards

Neville could also be in hot water after he ran down the touchline towards the City supporters immediately after Owen had scored. It is not the first time that Neville has been accused of goading the opposition's supporters having been £5,000 and warned about his future conduct for taunting Liverpool fans in 2006. According to The Guardian, 'Several City supporters have contacted the FA to complain that he mouthed obscenities in their direction.'
Rather hilariously, Neville, an unused substitute for the match, cut short his celebrations to go through a series of warm-up exercises despite United already making all three of their allotted substitutions.

Wasn't there like a pitch invader after Bellamy's goal which also ate up some time?

Ok, I'm completely convinced now; Zlatan in Barca is awesome as hell. He once again scored, and then he provided the assist to Pique with a backheel. :D 4 goals and 2 (that I can recall) assists in 3 1/3 league games.

ye he's being pretty awesome xD

The only real match that Barça and Madrid have played was Inter - Barça and ended 0-0 so not too much to say about them yet. Crushing crappy teams is totally expected.
La Liga is more or less something like this:

I tried to tell you.. Zlatan is a superstar man. All the people hating on Berbatov in England.. if Berbatov was with Barca he would be a great player. It's easy to look bad when nobody can get you the ball and you have everyone on the other team is targetting you. It's another thing when you have playmakers slipping you easy passes and you get to rack up assists yourself because your teammates are so lethal.

Berbatov gets the ball a lot and had like 4 point blank chances at goal vs Man City but couldn't convert. He's just out of form.

Yes, because obviously the three-time champions of England are full of crappy players.

Don't even try to lie and tell me your midfield is worth a shit this year. You might have a top 20 midfield on a good day. United won't win anything this year, you can wager any amount of money you want against me on that.
|
United doesn't play the same style as Barca, we rely heavily on wing play/crosses through counter attacking. Barca likes to keep possession, make tight through balls in the box or rely on individual skill. So it's pretty meaningless to compare midfields since our midfielders aren't responsible for creating chances. Ferguson only needs them to close down, get the ball up, be good in the air, etc. With that said there's no reason a reputed world class forward like Berbatov can't play as a targetman as opposed to some other kind of forward, I don't know how Tottenham played him but I doubt it was much different. Berbatov gets plenty of chances, I honestly don't know why he doesnt score.
