Why worse opponents? I mean, i get that relevantly, barca and madrid are far better 'teams' than all la liga but to make a connection between that and individual skills in players nowadays is wrong i think. I think players nowadays are better than they were when Ronaldo 9 was playing. ( thought most people think this. amirite? o.O) Im not saying that they were way better or even considerably better, but im just saying....probably a lil better or at worst, around the same. But definitely no reason to believe the players that ronaldo was owning back in the day were better than the modern day players... Messi still takes out players that are just as good if not better than the average player in la liga a decade and a half ago. | ||
